Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer the General Manager of Kush Bottles Inc. newly acquired operating division Summit Innovations is responsible for overall operations and financial performance of the business unit. I. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

<ul><li> The Cannabis Control Commission (Commission) is seeking to hire a Manager of Infrastructure and Applications. Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer, this position is responsible for the management and maintenance of network services, technical support, server administration and local area networks. This “hands-on” position will enable the execution and maintenance of end-user technology to support the day-to-day operations of the Commission. This is done by managing the triage problems to internal and external systems and assuring their resolution. The Manager of Infrastructure and Applications is also responsible for the connectivity &amp; integrity of infrastructure across multiple locations. Brand Sales Representative

I. PURPOSE OF THE JOB


Under the direction of the Director of Research, works in the Research Division by contributing to the Commission’s ambitious and robust exploratory agenda and ensuring all statutorily mandated reports are completed in a timely fashion.

V. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

<ul><li> Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Affairs, Public Relations, Communications, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education required; advanced degree preferred;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Experience working with people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Solid background in data analysis, research, and/or writing;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Experience with or knowledge of cannabis regulatory environment or research.</li></ul>


VI. SALARY RANGE: $50,000 - $60,000

The Commission is pleased to offer a comprehensive benefits package to its employees. The specific components and eligibility may vary based upon position classification, hours worked per week and other variables. Therefore, specific benefits for this position may be discussed as part of the interview and offer process.

This position is non-civil service. This position is an exempt position.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<ul><li> Assists the Director of Research and executes the Commission’s statutorily required research agenda;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Collaborates with Commission staff as well as other state agencies and stakeholders to monitor, collect, and interpret data;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Develops relationships and partnerships with the Department of Public Health, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, the Department of Higher Education, the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, and the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, and other government agencies as needed;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Assists in ensuring the Commission’s annual reports are accurate, thorough, and submitted on time;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Assists the Director of Research in outreach initiatives to policy experts, industry boards, think tanks and others impacted by the Commonwealth’s cannabis policies, regulations, and laws;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Assists in the development of reports, white papers, briefs, and graphics for research topics and projects;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Collaborates with Commission staff to develop and execute an open-data concept utilizing information and data gathered and maintained by the Commission;</li></ul>
<ul><li> Initiates special purpose research and independent projects as they relate to the Commission;</li></ul>

<ul><li> Provides research on specific topics as directed by the Executive Director or Commissioners;</li></ul>

Research Analyst

We are an incubator for businesses serving the cannabis industry, and have a stimulating fast-paced work culture. Current projects include businesses related to web media, e-commerce, legal services, etc. We provide services related to web design, web development, marketing &amp; branding, advertising, and legal.
One key component is content and marketing. That's where we're looking for driven individuals who want to make an impact in the cannabis community. If you're skilled in writing, photography, videography, social media or graphic design, we've got a place for you.
You will be working on a number of different projects for multiple companies in the space. Depending on your capabilities, job duties would consist of:

<li>Assisting with overall content strategy for various cannabis businesses and projects</li>
<li>Writing cannabis-related content (articles, guides, reviews)</li>
<li>Providing high quality photos for cannabis-related websites and social media</li>
<li>Shooting high quality videos for cannabis-related websites and social media</li>

This is an unpaid internship opportunity. We are more than happy to provide school credits, as well as explore paid opportunities at a future date. We are located in San Diego. The position is remote, with a weekly in-person meeting to discuss and report progress.

Roles and Responsibilities:

<li>Manage a team of software support specialists at various locations across the United States</li>
<li>Organize centralized time management for the team</li>
<li>Coordinate employee recruitment, management, reviews, and retainment</li>
