Have a Heart stores have been serving medical and recreational marijuana patients and customers since 4/20/2011. We have consistently set standards for customer service, product quality and customer experience in the retail marijuana industry. We are seeking management level personnel. We are a growing business in a booming industry, making the transition from a dispensary model to true retail sales of marijuana and marijuana infused products.We are currently looking for a store manager for our ever expanding business. This is fast paced work and the rate of change in terms of new stores, adjustment to legal developments and problem solving in one of the country's fastest growing industries is phenomenal.
Have a Hearts' Recreational Marijuana Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day shop and sales activity. The managers' objectives include maximizing revenue and profits while minimizing costs. Store managers ensure compliance with state and local regulations, make sure that promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company's and compliant standards, and ensure that sales staff are fully versed on the target for the day, educated on products being sold and that excellent customer care standards are met.
The Have a Heart Recreational Marijuana Store Manager will be required to: maintain human resources, marketing, logistics, information technology, customer service and finance.
Typical work activities include: Manage and motivate a large sales team to increase sales and ensure efficiency;
Support marketing efforts, inventory auditing and consolidation of a controlled substance, security, human relations including hiring and firing, purchasing and administrative staff in related efforts.
Analyze sales figures and trends and forecast future sales
Use information technology to infer sales figures and provide data analysis for forward planning.
Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development;
Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met;
Resolve health and safety, legal and security issues;
Respond to customer complaints and comments;
Organize and execute special promotions, displays and events;
Attend management/company meetings;
Update colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues;
Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identify and resolve issues;
Maintain awareness of market trends in the 502 retail marijuana industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing;
Initiate changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market
Current Management Experience Required;
Recreational/Medical Cannabis Management Experience a plus including local and state compliance for California.
2.Have a Heart has been successful mainly due to the core belief in hiring more from within, so just note you may have to start as a budtender and work your way up through the company to your ideal position. However, with this position we are looking to have someone hit the ground running as a full store manager.
