Reporting to the Controller, the ideal candidate will have strong cost accounting knowledge in a consumer goods production environment, a customer service focus, the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and a desire to work with a professional, results-driven team. This job is full time and can be based in either Santa Barbara or Desert Hot Springs. Some travel within California is required.
 
As Cost Accountant, what will you be responsible for?
 
Oversight of inventory tracking and related activities at multiple locations, to ensure accurate and timely costing, valuation and completion of transactional activities
 
Costing of inventory; analyzing production variances and providing insight into inventory cost fluctuations
 
Assist in accounting participation in physical inventory count activities
 
Review invoice approval and coding, including supplier payments
 
Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor
 
Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
 
Making estimates of new and proposed product costs, assists in preparing costing data for major business quotes
 
Supporting the monthly GL close process as required
 
Maintaining accurate cost of goods sold accounting
 
Maintaining and reconciling all procurement records for accuracy, control and analysis

Cost Accountant

Summary of Position: 
The Data Entry Clerk will perform all administrative functions associated with field operations including but not limited to data entry and other clerical support (including answering telephone), entering of utility locates, maintaining project tracking logs, filing, assisting with asbuilt creation, etc.

Legal Assistant/Office Manager Wanted - Part-time (20 hours/week) position available to assist one attorney in a newly established Lansing, Michigan law firm. We are open to an entry level person at the lower salary range or an experienced (2+) years person at the higher range.

We are seeking a Lab Technician (Hydrocarbon Extraction) reporting to BHO Extract Engineer to join our team at our state of the art Extraction Facility in our Cathedral City, California location.
Job Summary
The Lab Technician (Hydrocarbon Extraction) is responsible for navigating day to day laboratory operations. This includes working with the Extraction Engineer to prepare raw materials, assist the extraction process, clean up equipment and conduct general lab duties. This position will work closely with the Extraction Engineer to ensure equipment is maintained regularly and raw materials meet the necessary specifications.
Responsibilities

<li>Assist the Extraction Engineer in the operation and maintenance of closed loop hydrocarbon solvent extraction using BHO, CO2 and VTA Distillate machines.</li>
<li>Work with the Lab Technician (Post Extraction) to obtain flash frozen biomass material from the Vault room.</li>
<li>Assist Extraction Engineer with the front-end processing of raw materials, including weighing, grinding, cleaning and general lab work.</li>
<li>Prepare work space, equipment and materials daily.</li>
<li>Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware and equipment.</li>
<li>Maintain high tech lab process equipment and ensure such machinery operates in a clean organized environment.</li>

 Job Summary: 
The Dispensary Manager ensures that all transactions and the implementation of other retail processes comply with state and local laws and regulations and that service exceeds customer expectations. The Dispensary Manager collaborates to develop and implement practices, policies, and strategies that support a performance and results-driven culture.  Duties/Responsibilities: 
Participate in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives
 
Manage, supervise and direct the activities of assigned staff, and make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, termination or advancement of employees
 
Implement dispensary policies and ensure staff follows best practices
 
Order, oversee and manage quality product inventory and record keeping
 
Work with corporate on marketing, promotions and the maintenance of reports as they pertain to the daily operations of the dispensary
 
Ensure the dispensary’s compliance with security, inventory and local and state regulations
 
Manage daily financial records and cash handling procedures
 
Manage and inspire internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer experience
 
Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every patient and employee
 
Provide education and development for staff about medical cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates and consumption mechanisms
 
Work with management team to create budgets and forecast sales
 
Set sales, service, and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them
 
Work with wholesalers to negotiate and procure an adequate supply of quality products
 
Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling
 
Serve as a liaison to the local community
 
Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge
 
Review performance of other dispensary employees on a regular basis
 Skills &amp; Qualifications: 
Proper licenses, if necessary;
 
Three years in progressively responsible retail experience, including at least one year in a management position;
 
Ability to manage a team of staff members at a time during normal business hours in a fast paced, heavily regulated environment;
 
Experience in inventory management and reconciliation;
 
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
 
Proficient computing skills;
 
Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match
 
High level of integrity;

 Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: 
The Dispensary Manager regularly works evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of our retail setting;

Processing Associate
We are looking for dedicated, efficient, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team part time in the role of Processing Associate.
Processing Associate Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
<ul>
<li>Trim and package cannabis to the standards of company</li>
<li>Assist with the harvesting of plants from internal/external farms which could include some or all: unloading from vehicles, hanging, arranging, waste removal, etc.</li>
<li>Assist with pruning, transplanting, waste removal and cleaning in the internal production department</li>
<li>Process cannabis material at various stages (wet, dry, cure) to include, but not limited to:</li>
<li>Bucking, trimming, sorting, long-term storage.</li>
<li>Weighing and packaging flower, rolling pre-rolls, and/or concentrates per specific SOP</li>
<li>Preparing and building finished goods packaging (pre-roll packs/inserts, concentrate packaging, applying stickers etc.) and packaging finished product</li>
<li>Packaging concentrates</li>
<li>Will be expected to work at least 8 hours a day, up to 5 days a week (Monday-Friday), with potential for weekend work</li>

Qualifications/Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum 21 years old</li>
<li>Professional appearance and proper personal hygiene</li>
<li>Comfortable/ability to work in cold environments (~50 degrees F)</li>
<li>Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, startup environment and changing tasks/projects on a routine basis</li>
<li>Previous warehouse labor experience preferred</li>
<li>Attention to detail</li>
<li>Excellent hand eye coordination</li>
<li>Environment will consist of office, indoor grow production, warehouse or distribution environment, as well as out-door elements on a frequent basis</li>
<li>Must be able to stand, walk, sit; use hands or finger to, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear</li>
<li>Must have close vision, distant vision, ability to adjust focus, peripheral and color vision</li>
<li>Ability to work in and thrive in a sometimes-chaotic startup environment</li>
</ul>
