The Social Media/Marketing Coordinator’s primary objective is to develop/coordinate the social media, marketing, and graphic design projects for CPS and its brands. This includes taking photos regularly at all CPS facilities, posting daily on all CPS social media accounts, responding to online comments/questions, designing graphics for various marketing projects and magazine ads, designing and editing monthly sales flyers and menus, keeping company information up-to-date on various marketing platforms, and performing miscellaneous office tasks such as organizing, filing, and creating spreadsheets.
Duties/Responsibilities:
∙ Maintain a professional but personable presence on the social media pages for Colorado Product Services, Nature’s High Edibles, Mountain High Edibles, Double Black Concentrates, Mountain Flower, The Doctor’s Garden Dispensary, and Green Natural Solutions
∙ Research and stay up-to-date on current industry events and standards
∙ Make 3 posts per hour on weekdays (24 posts/day)
∙ Make at least 2 posts each Saturday and check all messages/notifications throughout the weekend
∙ Film Live Videos when appropriate
∙ Gather information from the sales team on the latest product drops, pop-ups and other current events; create social media campaigns accordingly
∙ Repost photos we are tagged in
∙ Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
∙ Browse other related pages, follow them, and like/comment on their posts
∙ Stay active in the Facebook group Colorado Badged Network and use this group for product promotions, dispensary deals and job listings
∙ Monitor and record weekly statistics such as followers, demographics, profile views, etc
∙ Travel between the four CPS facilities and take new product photos each week
∙ Take photos as requested by upper management for other marketing projects
∙ Lightly edit photos for consistency, color, contrast and blemishes
∙ Update photo library in Dropbox as needed
∙ Create basic graphic designs for social media posts
∙ Create and edit product menus, monthly flyers, and other informational items as needed
∙ Create magazine ads and other marketing tools
∙ Create basic graphic designs for other departments in the company as needed
∙ Serve as the main contact for marketing companies, magazines, etc
∙ Coordinate new marketing projects
∙ Keep company information up-to-date on platforms such as Leafly and Weedmaps
∙ Complete other projects as required by the Sales Director
Job Requirements:

∙ Proficiency in graphic design, photography and photo editing
∙ Access to graphic design programs (Adobe Creative Suite, etc)
∙ Proficiency in language skills (Grammar, spelling, etc)
∙ A passion for cannabis lifestyle and social media
∙ Up-to-date on the latest technologies and social media trends
Compensation:
Annual Salary plus:
∙ Mileage compensation for travel
∙ Health/dental/vision offered after 90 days; employer covers $172/month
