SUMMARY: 
Our Human Resources Generalist will carry out responsibilities in various aspects of human resources including: payroll, recruitment, on-boarding, benefits, leaves of absence, employee relations, compliance, safety, terminations, talent management &amp; HR reporting. They will be an extension of the HR team in Las Vegas and an ambassador for our California employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and time / attendance management.</li>
<li>Maintain accuracy of payroll/system data in HRIS.</li>
<li>Manage the recruiting process from requisition to on-boarding.</li>
<li>Host employee orientations and complete all new hire paperwork.</li>
<li>Manage all FMLA/CFRA leaves of absence (LOA’s); Administer state LOA’s (CFRA, PFL, SDI etc.)</li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS::
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.</li>
<li>PHR / SHRM-CP certification preferred; CA designation highly preferred.</li>

<li>3 - 10 years of broad HR Generalist experience.</li>

The WSLCB is announcing an important opportunity as a Program Specialist 2 in the Licensing and Regulation Division. This position supports the Program Manager of the Mandatory Alcohol Service Training (MAST) and Responsible Vendor Program (RVP) in the issuance of the MAST permits and the RVP certification. As the Program Specialist 2, you will provide information and technical assistance to staff, program participants, stakeholders, permittees and general public regarding MAST and RVP requirements, pertinent laws, rules, policies, and activities.

Duties

As a program representative, support the daily operations of the programs by assisting program participants including staff, licensees, providers, trainers, permit holders and general public:
<ul>
<li>Respond to questions and inquiries based on the pertinent laws, regulations and procedures; provides technical assistance regarding program contents, procedures and activities and resolves problems and issues within a delegated area of authority.
</li>
<li>Upload and receives permit forms accurately; Keeps permit records accurately; Replaces permits and fills in permit orders; Process RVP applications and collects and prepare permit statistics by monitoring program activities.
</li>
<li>Assist program reviews and trainer certifications as needed.
</li>
<li>Process Division of Child Support MAST permit suspension orders.</li>

Assist with various education and outreach efforts in making connections with customers, stakeholders, internal and external LCB staff using and creating the various communication and education channels:<ul>
<li>Draft notes, instructions and announcements to inform the regulated industry of legislative changes; changes in rules and procedures; educational materials. Communication tools may include letter to licensees, periodic newsletters, educational materials and web contents.

<li>Organize, plan, and arrange meetings, workshops and/or conferences for the stakeholders including licensees, retailer associations, MAST providers and trainers and makes public presentations on program related topics.

<li>Creates, revises and updates educational materials including utilizing online technology.</li>

Help to ensure providers' and trainers' comply within the laws, rules and procedures by conducting course audits or monitoring online course websites:<ul><li>Conduct organized class audits or monitor online course websites under the general guidance of the supervisor; evaluate providers' and trainers' conducts, actions and provide feedback and recommendations, take corrective actions if necessary; provide technical assistance to help them comply with the laws, rules and procedures.</li></ul>

Qualifications

Required:

Our client is presently searching for a highly skilled Director of Cultivation for the operational and management of a large-scale commercial cultivation facility. This individual will have oversight of all Cultivation Agents and Managers, ensuring that the facility is safe and in compliance. Must be able to perform all tasks in the grow including: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, trimming, packaging, waste disposal, and inventory management. The Director of Cultivation will improve operations using new developments in the field of cannabis cultivation.
 What you will be doing: 
Responsible for making decisions about all aspects of cultivation including hiring workers, fertilizer and supply acquisition, and correct propagation, vegetation and distribution of all flower and managing the overall cultivation environment.
 
Collaborates and communicates closely with other upper level management. Follows established policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts, policies, and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks.

Brand Marketing Manager

Wellness Connection of Maine (WCM) is seeking a Human Resource Manager to join their growing team. We are a full spectrum wellness center, committed to fostering education and support for medical cannabis patients throughout the state and beyond.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced, energetic, Human Resource professional with a high level of relationship building and interpersonal skills who will be ready to roll up their sleeves and join in our commitment to setting the bar for unparalleled quality.
Responsibilities will include: 
Employee Relations: 
<ul>
<li>Provide accurate, timely guidance to Team Leaders and Team Members on problems originating from work situations.</li>
<li>Counsel management and employees on grievances and complaints and take appropriate steps to ensure that all such problems are resolved .
</li>
<li>Ensure that personnel policies as well as other related policies and procedures are kept current in coordination with other departments and be able to analyze these policies and make recommendations accordingly</li>
<li>Handle all employee performance reviews, progressive disciplinary policies, employee separation documentation and exit interviews.</li>
<li>50% of the time will consist of travelling to various locations to meet face to face with staff, managers etc.</li>
</ul>
Recruiting, Orientation and Training: 
<ul>
<li>Assist in the hiring and placement of employees including conducting new employee orientation and hiring, Team Member training and Sexual Harassment Training.</li>
<li>Coordinate Team Leader training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment and management development.</li>
</ul>
Human Resource Administration: 
<ul>
<li>Consult on benefits programs such as health, dental, and disability insurances, vacation, sick leave and leave of absence, and employee assistance.</li>
<li>Advise Senior Management and Team Leaders regarding Human Resources compliance related to State and Federal Regulation.</li>
<li>Represent WCM at personnel-related hearings and investigations.</li>
<li>Maintain personnel transactions and files such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.</li>
<li>Investigates accidents, creates First Report for insurance carrier and manages all aspects of Worker’s Compensation claims and work with Safety committee and Team Leaders to develop appropriate light duty positions.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, organizational development or related field.</li>
<li>8 years of solid human resources generalist management experience required.</li>
<li>PHR or SPHR certification desired.</li>
<li>Must possess a high level of integrity and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential issues.</li>
<li>Must have a clean, valid drivers license and reliable transportation – requires travel 50% of the time.</li>
<li>Solid problem solving, business acumen, influence and negotiation skills.</li>
<li>Superior organizational, project management, time management and multi-tasking skills.</li>
<li>Superior communication skills to include listening, verbal, written and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Must be able to travel to multiple locations across the state of Maine.</li>
<li>Must be available to work some weekends.</li>
<li>Must pass a drug test and background check (state mandated)</li>
