PharmLabs Coachella location is the only operating and accredited cannabis laboratory in the entire Coachella Valley. The City of Coachella and the surrounding municipalities in the Coachella Valley are estimated to produce the majority of cannabis and cannabis-derived products for the State of California. The incumbent will play a key role ensuring safe products are available to the Nation’s new epicenter of the Green Rush.

Position Summary:
Our ideal candidate is computer savvy, great on the phones and loves interacting with a diverse group of people. Our clients come from a wide variety of industries and cannabis science knowledge, so strong interpersonal skills are a must for this position.
Being well versed in the Emergency Regulations released by the Bureau of Cannabis Control under the MAUCRSA is an important part of this role. As regulations continue to change with state legislature, it will be important to stay up to date and understand how changes can affect our services and day to day operations.
As the face of PharmLabs, our ideal candidate would serve as a brand ambassador; answering phones, responding to email inquiries and greeting walk-in clients. Knowledge about our testing services and cannabis products will be an important part of this role to help support to our clients successfully. An understanding of the basics of chemical and biological analytical chemistry is important to communicate testing results with clients and describing our services.
Candidates must be detail oriented. Part of this role is the intake of client test samples and inputting them into the Laboratory Information Management System as well as ensuring products are correctly labeled for testing by the Laboratory staff.
To maintain the independence of the laboratory, and under current regulations, laboratory staff can not be employed by or have ownership in any other cannabis license type.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for sifting through cured batches; separating, weighing, packaging, sealing, labeling and tracking the product precisely and effectively. They are also responsible for the tracking of each batch, making sure that all product is accounted for, packaged appropriately and noted on all forms appropriately and according to company policy and practices, as well as state, local and MED laws and regulations.
Essential Functions : 
<ul>
<li>Identify retail needs based on store inventory levels and prioritize packaging based their warehouses current cured inventory.</li>
<li>Breakdown cured batches into multiple different weight increments (1.75 g, 3.5 g, 7 g, etc…) and package them accordingly; adhering to a retail requested 2:1 ratio of 1/8ths to 1/16ths.</li>
<li>Employee must package product without degrading the quality, weighing it on a state certified scale to an exact weight and placing the product in the bag without damaging it.</li>
<li>Properly note all packages and increments on the batches Cure Form for reconciliation.</li>
<li>Employee is responsible for printing labels for each package and adhering them to the bag.</li>
<li>Employee is required to fill the bags with nitrogen, close them and heat-seal them according to company policy and procedure.</li>
<li>Employee should be trained and have a basic knowledge of MJ Freeway as it pertains to the department.</li>

DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES *
 As a Dispensary Associate, you will be assisting patients by answering their questions, making them feel welcomed and comfortable. Dispensary Associate is responsible for ringing up patients, correctly inputting coupons and ensuring the patient has the best experience possible to build positive patient relationships.

<li>Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful mannger.</li>
<li>Processing transactions.</li>
<li>Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling customer inquiries and complaints.</li>
<li>Assist patients with choosing the right products according to their ailments.</li>
<li>Verify patient's allotment and ensure they are eligible to make purchasing using the state system.</li>
<li>Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly.</li>
<li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</li>
<li>Participates in ongoing education and professional development as needed.</li>
<li>Adheres to all Maryland Medical Cannabis laws.</li>
<li>Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work.</li>
<li>Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.</li>

Requirements: 
QUALIFICATIONS *
 <ul>
<li>Experience in a retail or banking setting.</li>
<li>Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette.</li>
<li>Must be able to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines</li>
<li>Cash register experience with speed and accuracy.</li>
<li>Experience frequently interacting with customers, fulfilling customer requests and addressing customer issues, questions, or suggestions.</li>
<li>Ability to handle a busy atmosphere.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.</li>
<li>Proficiency using MS Office applications.</li>
<li>Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.</li>
<li>Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.</li>
<li>Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.</li>
<li>Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day. Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.</li>

<li>Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables.</li>

EDUCATION *

<li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is desirable.</li>

Dispensary Associate

Provide Spectacular Service while having positive and knowledgeable interactions with customers. Focus on Customer Service and information sharing.
 DUTIES: Completes retail sales transactions (credit card and point of sale) in compliance with established policies and procedures. Possesses a strong level of telephone etiquette. Demonstrates knowledge of cannabis products and strains to include Sativa, Indica and Hybrids. Provides recommendations regarding appropriate usage and dosage based on method of consumption. Updates management regularly on customer buying patterns and interactions. Demonstrates an understanding of regulatory compliance and upholds all policies and procedures unique to the industry. Actively promotes spectacular customer service and aides in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Promotes a professional demeanor in all interactions and transactions. Responds to guest's questions regarding flowers, strains, creams, oils, waxes, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, vape/e-pens. Stocks product. Actively identifies areas for cost savings. Responsible to maintain a safe environment for guests and colleagues. All other duties as assigned.
 QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid State of Washington Driver's License. Experience and/or education in the cannabis industry to include store product knowledge. High school diploma or GED, required.
