LeafLine Labs is one of two registered medical cannabis manufacturers in Minnesota, located in the Twin Cities suburb Cottage Grove, MN. The mission of the Cannabis Control Commission is to honor the will of the voters by safely, equitably and effectively implementing and administering the laws enabling access to adult- and medical-use marijuana in the Commonwealth. To support the Commission’s mission and its staff, the Associate Counsel will address and resolve legal matters in settled and evolving areas of the law. With the direction of the General Counsel, the Associate Counsel will provide advice on legal issues as they arise, including in the areas of licensing, investigation, labor and employment.


III. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Assistant Grower

Role Overview: 
In this multi-faceted role, the Director of Operations serves as brand ambassador, patient advocate, staff mentor, supervisor and general manager.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess 5 to 10 years of progressive management experience, including new business start-up experience. They will provide effective leadership in order to ensure they are exceeding expectations every day. The position will directly oversee the managers of cultivation, manufacturing (concentrates and edible cannabis products), and the retail dispensary. Candidate should be proficient in business planning, reporting and budgeting. The ideal candidate will serve as the brand ambassador, patient advocate, staff mentor, supervisor and general manager for Holistic Industries’ business in Los Angeles – and will be looked upon to assist in expanding the company throughout the state. This role will be responsible for the day to day management of over 50 staff within a large manufacturing facility and retail store.
Responsibilities (Include, but not limited to): 
<ul>
<li>Accountable for P &amp; L performance</li>
<li>Ensure all operational SOP’s are followed as outlined in Holistic Industries Policies and Procedures</li>
<li>Oversees inventory management to ensure inventory is consistently accurate, up to date, effectively ordered and replenished, and that the company is compliant with all the statutes of the California Cannabis regulations and the Los Angeles Cannabis regulations.</li>
<li>Maintain a positive working environment</li>
<li>Oversees product quality control</li>
<li>Maintain relationships with state officials and lead periodic compliance inspections</li>
<li>Maintains the facility in line with all city and state regulations</li>
<li>Compile and submit reports to executive management</li>
<li>Coordinate with vendors who maintain the facility</li>
<li>Coordinate with security team to ensure security of the staff, facility and products</li>
<li>Maintain facility schedules</li>
<li>Oversees all store visual merchandising</li>
<li>Liaises with local community, area health providers and manages patient outreach and educational programing</li>
<li>Analyzes data and reports in order to recommend product promotions, adjust schedules, improve profitability and cost management</li>

<li>Manage weekly meetings between department management and leads</li>

Director of Operations

We are looking for a part-time greeter to work approximately 30 hours per week who is available to start right away.
The schedule will be two day shifts and two closing shifts each week. There may be a chance to pick up extra hours from time to time, or even to move into a full-time role in the future.
We are not looking for future budtenders so this role is only for greeter/security. The job can be tedious and boring but you must remain focused.
We do not allow our employees to get high or to be high at work.
Experience checking IDs is required.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Assist manufacturing team in the production of cannabis based medicines
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Intimately understand the issues surrounding chromatographic determination of cannabinoid potency.</li>
<li>Create and characterize stock solutions and formulation solutions.</li>
<li>Formulate cannabis based products within given tolerance interval</li>
<li>Quantitate potency of extracts and plant material.</li>
<li>Run and maintain lab equipment including but not limited to HPLC, GCMS, RotoVap, Novasep, fractional distillation.</li>
<li>Write and update lab procedures</li>
<li>Keep organized records of all procedures and results using good laboratory practice</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment.</li>
<li>Able to work independently as well as operating as a team</li>
<li>Performs weekly safety-checks of fire-extinguishing equipment, eyewash stations and shower stations. Attends safety meetings as required.</li>
<li>Perform other functions as necessary to provide an adequate supply of product to meet patient demand.</li>
<li>Keep inventory of lab equipment and supplies to ensure continuity of lab functionality</li>

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to Operations Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
A college degree in the physical sciences or engineering is required. An advanced degree in chemistry or a related discipline is preferred. Both mental and manual skills are utilized. Attention to detail is crucial.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication may be required. Sitting or standing for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
Some heavy lifting may be required. Exertion of up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office and laboratory equipment. Must be comfortable operating and troubleshooting scientific and packaging equipment.
Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of problems.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The job is performed indoors in a traditional laboratory setting. Exposure to chemicals and laboratory agents is expected. Protective safety clothing, goggles, gloves, facemasks, or hat are required as needed. Activities include extended periods of sitting or standing and extensive work using laboratory and packaging equipment and machinery.
