We are a newly established company looking for an Assistant Manager ready to take on a position at our budding dispensary in Lakewood. Applicants will need to have a retail background, experience in the Cannabis industry and proof of work history.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Train and motivate the Leiffa team in accordance with the company's mission, vision, goals and objective
- Ensure all team members' adherence to operational guidelines and standards.
- Work directly with the Store manager to oversee all team members' are trained on all safety, security and MED compliance policies.
- Maintain current and accurate store records of patient data, MED compliance and other data as directed
- Daily operation include: Correct cash handling and discount application, reviewing of reports for proper money reconciliation, verification of proper documentation, new patient intake, opening and closing procedures
- Receive and send orders in METRC and the POS system
- Assist Store manager by monitoring and maintaining inventory levels including inventory reconciliation and communicating inventory action items.
- Work directly with the management team to complete end of month reporting, profit analysis, and auditing transactions
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of store
- Set up pop up events and work directly with all vendors
- Maintain knowledge of all products and strains stocked in the store
- Assist patients in selecting products by knowing dosage levels, consumption methods and patients level of experience.
- Ensure effective communication between entire management team
- Weekly manager meetings
Position requirements:
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Key Badge and current Driver's license or ID
- Must be a Colorado Resident
- 2-5 years of experience in a retail management position
- Experience with a point of sale software
- Experience with METRC preferred
- Strong computer and cash handling skills are a must.
- Be highly motivated and able to jump in and do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Solid understanding of position and required tasks.
- Ability to work well under pressure and keep the team encouraged
- A positive attitude and easily adaptable to change.
- Must have dependable transportation.
- Available to work flexible hours that will include mornings, weekends, nights and holidays – no exceptions!
- Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
- Applicant will have to pass additional background checks upon hiring.
