The Extraction Technician position will assist in the management and operations of the extraction department. This includes creating/developing new &amp; existing products i.e - shatters, crumbles, sugars, terp sauce, short path distillation, terp extraction, &amp; terp formulation. Additional responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, meeting OLCC compliance requirements, maintaining equipment, &amp; ensuring production requirements are met.
The candidate will use a variety of different extraction techniques to optimize extraction of active components from plant tissue samples. Extraction techniques could include, but are not limited to, short path distillation, spinning band distillation, steam distillation, traditional solvent-based extraction, and chromatography-based approaches.
