Job Summary 
Responsible for overseeing the daily activities and production of subcontractor and in-house aerial/underground construction crews. The Field Supervisor helps set the direction for the CATV construction work and removes roadblocks so the crew members will be successful, the customer will be satisfied and the project profitable. The Field Supervisor shall not have the authority to enter into any contract on behalf of the company. Specific duties include:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for performing field inspections of cable/fiber/coax placement, splicing and construction work.</li>
<li>Assist in building out both underground and aerial aspects of the network</li>
<li>Conduct pre-survey of construction packages</li>
<li>Read and interpret CATV construction drawings and blueprints</li>
<li>Track daily production for crew and achieve schedule demands at all times</li>
<li>Completes walk-through with foreman and customer</li>
<li>Keep the Project Manager and customer updated on progress of project</li>
<li>Evaluate crew member’s performance and provide coaching</li>
<li>Responsible for workforce compliance with all safety regulations including all OSHA requirements.</li>
<li>Interact with subcontractors and field personnel regarding work completion, and resolve conflicts when necessary.</li>
<li>Responsible for vehicle maintenance and inventory control of all on-site equipment and tools.</li>
<li>Review and authorize daily work reports.</li>
<li>At times, may be required to perform work along with field personnel.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
<ul>
<li>10+ years of experience and knowledge of all aspects of Aerial &amp; Underground CATV construction</li>
<li>Knowledge of outside plant safety and procedures</li>
<li>Working knowledge of engineering work prints, ability to understand and interpret construction documents</li>
<li>Ability to direct crews and communicate with teammates and customers</li>
<li>Practical knowledge on Microsoft Office products to include: Word, Excel, etc</li>
<li>Familiar with construction equipment</li>
<li>Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required</li>

 This position will be responsible for coordinating investigations and possible enforcement procedures for Minnesota's two registered medical cannabis manufacturers, including cannabis patient centers and approved medical cannabis testing laboratories. This position will provide oversight of the manufacturers work including cultivation and extraction, creation of acceptable forms and dosages of cannabis, transportation of medical cannabis, financial condition, marketing, labeling, security, and testing laboratories. This position will act as a resource to MDH, other state agencies, and law enforcement to conduct projects and provide technical consultation on issues associated with medical cannabis.
 
Qualifications
 Minimum Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, horticulture science, laboratory science or related field AND two (2) years of advanced professional experience conducting regulatory compliance inspections at off-site facilities. Experience must include assessing/assuring compliance with state or federal laws, regulations or guidelines and conducting complex investigations.

 Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, horticulture science, laboratory science or related field AND five (5) years of related professional experience conducting regulatory compliance inspections at off-site facilities.
