Head of Human Resources

About the Opportunity

We are building a new fully licensed, legal and compliant Cannabis Delivery system. The Cannabis Delivery Head of Operations is a key role guiding the development of every element of the Delivery system.

The right candidate for this role possesses strong leadership qualities, extreme orientation to detail and is obsessed with efficient operations.

Please note that this role would be working for one of our Partner Licensed Dispensaries in one of the following markets: Sacramento, Los Angeles, Orange County, or Monterey County. You must be locally based in one of these markets to be considered.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Responsible for developing the strategy (both short and long term) for delivery service logistics from conception to implementation to iteration to re-implementation</li>
<li>Primary functions include: driver recruitment and training, fleet management &amp; logistics, inventory management, and business performance reporting</li>
<li>Build and develop operational documentation</li>
<li>Manage regulatory compliance</li>
<li>Develop communications system architecture (phone trees, etc)</li>
<li>Support core business operations: payroll, inventory tracking management, cash management, etc.</li>
<li>Perform continual needs assessments and optimize systems to achieve greater efficiencies</li>
<li>Lead the force on creative strategies to increase customer base</li>
<li>Local travel will be required - you must have a working vehicle and be willing to travel extensively regionally</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>2+ years with delivery logistics</li>
<li>Experience in inventory management</li>
<li>Strong leadership skills via prior experience</li>
<li>Strong tech aptitude including POS systems, driver tracking software, and web-based applications</li>
<li>Analytical skills to interpret reports, systems, and other technical information and form conclusions and/or recommendations</li>
<li>Entrepreneurial spirit with previous experience in early startups. You think outside of the box and are resourceful and fiscally responsible</li>
<li>Cannabis experience is a bonus but not required</li>
</ul>
