Alaskan Leaf is seeking friendly and energetic budtenders with experience in customer service and retail sales. Positions start at $12/hour + Tips. We have part-time positions available for closing shifts 3:30PM-12:00AM. There will be opportunities for full-time hours, bonuses and raises with performance and/or tenure. We are a vertically integrated organization with a retail marijuana store and a cultivation facility.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have obtained a Marijuana Handlers Permit
Must have obtained a Municipality of Anchorage Food Handler Card
Must have excellent attendance and professionalism
Must be detail oriented and able to handle cash registers in a high-volume, fast paced environment
Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and random drug screenings (for illicit drugs under Alaska law)
Must have reliable transportation
Must be enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing, and a team player
Must accept the risk that comes with working in the marijuana industry while marijuana is illegal at the federal level
This position requires the physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, kneeling, and reaching
Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow procedures with high level of accuracy; this job demands attention to detail
Provide excellent customer service
Inform and educate customers on products we carry
Maintain knowledge of relevant state laws regarding marijuana in Alaska
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Operate POS system as instructed
Observe signs of intoxication
