Distribution Driver
RISE Logistics is a wholesale B2B cannabis distribution company, dedicated to revolutionizing the way retail businesses source products for their customers. By leveraging proprietary technologies, industry-leading logistics infrastructure, and deep supply chain relationships, RISE is redefining “cannabis distribution” for the 21st century.
RISE Logistics has an immediate need for a driver based out of Santa Rosa, CA who will be responsible for picking up and delivering products in our distribution network in California. This includes long hauls and last mile deliveries to retailers. This position reports to the Senior Operations and Logistics Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Check schedule for products pending delivery or pickup</li>
<li>Enter data on delivery and pickup log and provide delivery feedback to dispatch</li>
<li>Prioritize deliveries and route with the Senior Operations and Logistics Manager as well as Dispatch</li>
<li>Check vehicle brakes/controls/fuel content/lights/turn signals, etc. on company vehicle daily before starting out</li>
<li>Load products into company delivery vehicle</li>
<li>Deliver or pick up products at supplier site or dispensary</li>
<li>Take care of products during transit to ensure zero damage and to remain compliant</li>
<li>Get required paperwork signed off</li>
<li>Unload returned products at the warehouse</li>
<li>Ensure that vehicle is empty and secure when done</li>
<li>Support pick and pack operations and delivery staging</li>
<li>Support inventory counts and receiving operations</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
