JOB DESCRIPTION
The Infusions Manager will oversee the operation of the Marijuana Infused Products (MIP) department at Sira Naturals, Inc. and will help drive both production and research and development (R&amp;D) of our delicious portfolio of MIPs. This is a “working manager” role and the incumbent will be expected to lead by example and make/prepare products as well as develop product specifications, recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support the kitchen and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both new product development and low-to-medium volume production of candy and confections. We need someone with the ability to troubleshoot in a systematic way, using scientific method and controls to create repeatable, consistent results. Lastly, we are looking for someone to help create and perfect recipes and formulations for other marijuana-infused products such as: tinctures, balms, sprays, pills, sublingual strips, drinks, and topicals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Maintain up-to-date MIP offerings to match needs and trends in the patient community and Sira Natural’s customer base with a strong focus on candies and confectionary food products</li>
<li>Ensure homogeneity/proper incorporation of medicinal extracts into MIPs through correct formulation and process scale up</li>
<li>Coordinate with the executive team to ensure that all operations are fully compliant with 105.CMR.725 and all other applicable regulations and requirements with a strong focus on food safety</li>
<li>Day-to-day management of MIP production area and team including:</li>
<li>- Daily production scheduling and execution to plan</li>
</ul>
<ul><li>- Staffing and capacity planning</li></ul>
<ul><li>- Creation and maintenance of product specification documents, HACCP plans, procedures, recipes, and formulations for creation of edible and other marijuana-infused products to be produced by Sira Naturals, Inc.</li></ul>
<ul><li>- Interview and recommend for hire any potential job candidates for Infused Products department staff</li></ul>
<ul><li>- Oversee training of all new MIP production staff and re-training of current staff on an as-needed basis</li></ul>
<ul><li>- Coordination with Retail, Extraction and Cultivation departments to ensure proper inventory flow and fullest availability of products to patient community</li></ul>
<ul><li>Regularly audit MIP inventory utilizing seed-to-sale tracking software and report any inventory discrepancies that arise</li></ul>
<ul>
<li>Ensure full compliance with inventory control protocols and procedures</li>
<li>Work with certified laboratories to ensure proper testing of all products</li>
</ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Patient Consultant

This full-time role allocates time between administrative support for three departments: sales team, customer service and accounting functions. This role supports two divisions, PBFY Flexible Packaging (Food/Coffee/Tea Packaging) and Green Rush Packaging (Cannabis Packaging). Both brands serve very high demand industries with considerable room for growth.
This position is entry level - it would be best suited for someone who can wear many hats, has a background in an administrative role and is interested in gaining more experience in several different departmental functions.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Administrative takes to include; filing, record keeping, printing/assembly of SOPs (standard operating procedures), etc.</li>
<li>Support overflow of sales functions include; order entry (emergency support orders and backing-up out of office sales team order entry needs)</li>
<li>Support outside sales account executive with order entry, inventory levels, custom production facilitation, etc.</li>
<li>Collection and processing of all trade show lead entry needs</li>
<li>Support overflow of custom production scheduling needs</li>
<li>Support overflow of RMA (return merchandise authorization) process through customer correspondence and internal RMA procedures</li>
<li>
Support overflow of incoming lead entry/distribution and sample requestfulfillment
</li>
<li>Support overflow of online order processing and auditing</li>
<li>Provide incoming phone coverage for customer service team as needed</li>
<li>Maintains a timely and appropriate response to customer calls or emails</li>
<li>Reports directly to Customer Service Manager</li>
</ul>
Minimum Requirements
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma</li>
<li>1+ Year Administrative Role</li>
<li>Experience utilizing a CRM or ERP Software</li>
<li>Positive demeanor and ability to adapt to different personality types</li>

Preferred Requirements
<ul>
<li>Experience with Macola / E-Synergy</li>
<li>Experience with WordPress/WooCommerce</li>
<li>Experience with HelpScout</li>
