Executive Admin Assistant

THE POSITION
 
The Office of Cannabis Policy and Enforcement manages the implementation of the permitting, enforcement and regulations for commercial cannabis in the City of Sacramento. This includes the oversight of cannabis retail dispensaries, cultivators, manufactures, distributors and testing laboratories. The office is responsible for coordinating the activities of an interdepartmental team to effectuate safe, legal operation of cannabis businesses. General duties include the evaluation and issuance of cannabis permits, policy recommendations, implementing an enforcement program for permitted cannabis business, supporting enforcement efforts to eliminate the illegal activity including managing cannabis code appeal hearings, and conducting outreach and education to stakeholders and the general public. Job Summary
The Cannabis Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for customers and represents the company in the dispensary. The CSR must apply the highest-level of customer service in a high-volume, fast-paced retail store front. This position requires a consistent positive attitude and team player mentality.
Responsibilities
Front of House (FOH)
<ul>
<li>Greet and check-in guests as they enter the store</li>
<li>Verify guest identification for age and residency status; politely decline guests whose IDs do not adhere to city and state requirements</li>
<li>Understand and apply city and state requirements for compliant handling, sales and transactions of cannabis products</li>
<li>Maintain a high-level of customer service and positive energy throughout the assigned shift</li>
<li>Sell a wide range of accessories and provide accurate advice on every product</li>
<li>Listen to customer needs, questions and concerns then address customers input with courteous and applicable feedback</li>
<li>Explain processes and inform customers of promotions, sales, new products, popular products and relevant products for customer needs</li>

<li>Creates and updates menus throughout the day, including Weedmaps</li>
<li>Manage incoming calls and voicemails</li>
<li>Ensure the store is clean, organized and presented in a manner consistent with company brand at all times</li>
<li>Complete membership paperwork and explain benefits of Farmily Loyalty membership program</li>
<li>Display and replenish products as needed</li>

Back of House (BOH)
<ul>
<li>Greet and check-in guests as soon as they are escorted to BOH</li>
<li>Listen to customer needs, questions and concerns then address customers input with courteous, educational, accurate and applicable feedback</li>
<li>Explain processes and inform customers of promotions, sales, new products, popular products and relevant products for customer needs</li>
<li>Provide accurate and relevant recommendations and suggestions as necessary</li>
<li>Process payments accurately</li>
<li>Communicate with co-workers and shift leads</li>
<li>Perform daily inventory audits</li>
<li>Stock edibles and topicals so shelves are full and in proper rotation</li>
<li>Document guest feedback as “Happy Cows” &amp; “Mad Cows”</li>
<li>Update product menus and chalkboards as needed</li>
<li>Ensure the store is clean, organized and presented in a manner consistent with company brand at all times</li>

Total compensation
All employees working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. The Farm contributes towards the medical premium for employees who participate in the medical plan and premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis. The Farm also offers paid time-off for all full-time employees. All employees are eligible for 50% reimbursement on a monthly RTD bus pass after 90 days of employment.
