Southern California Distribution Driver
RISE Logistics is a wholesale B2B cannabis distribution company, dedicated to revolutionizing the way retail businesses source products for their customers. By leveraging proprietary technologies, industry-leading logistics infrastructure, and deep supply chain relationships, RISE is redefining “cannabis distribution” for the 21st century.
RISE Logistics has an immediate need for a driver who will be responsible for picking up and delivering products in our distribution network in California. This includes long hauls and last mile deliveries to retailers. This position reports to the Dispatch & Fleet Manager with a dotted line report to the Logistics Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Check schedule for products pending delivery or pickup
- Enter data on delivery and pickup log and provide delivery feedback to dispatch
- Prioritize deliveries and route with the Logistics Manager and Dispatch.
- Check vehicle brakes/controls/fuel content/lights/turn signals, etc. on company vehicle daily before starting out
- Load products into company delivery vehicle
- Deliver or pick up products at supplier site or dispensary
- Take care of products during transit to ensure zero damage and to remain compliant
- Get required paperwork signed off
- Unload returned products at the warehouse
- Ensure that vehicle is empty and secure when done
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent Customer Service
- Good listening and verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be an adept driver and always abide by all traffic rules
- Problem solving ability
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Professional appearance
- Time management skills
- Good attendance & positive attitude
- Ability to work different hours depending on needs of company
- Able to work independently and/or in perfect coordination with co-workers
- Able to pass regular drug tests
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- 1+ years of experience in cannabis operations, with delivery in particular

- Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour
