The Company: Green Leaf Lab is a cannabis analytical laboratory founded in Portland, Oregon. We are looking for a Lab Director for our new laboratory in Sacramento, California. Green Leaf Lab is a full-service, production oriented, cannabis specific laboratory using cutting-edge technology to characterize the chemical, physical, biological, and microbial properties of a wide range of samples submitted for regulatory compliance and operational purposes. We employ an assortment of analytical methods and have developed a unique combination of technology, experience, and capabilities.
Position: The Laboratory Director is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and controlling the overall laboratory, including all analytical or microbial methods performed, data management, implementation of new technology, and related work as required. The Laboratory Director oversees chemists, microbiologists, physical chemists, technicians, and intake personnel who provide laboratory services to both the medical and recreational licensed cannabis industry. The Laboratory Director also oversees facility improvements and maintenance to improve efficiency and safety. This position will report directly to the Chief Science Officer. This position will require travel during training period. Position will be based in Sacramento, California.
Essential Duties:

<li>Maintain laboratory ISO 17025 accreditation and continual compliance with State and local regulatory requirements, including quality checks and compliance of safety standards such as, but not limited to, OSHA, Fire Marshall and Police.</li>
<li>Oversee the Quality Assurance and Control Program, and direct any necessary corrective action.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain Laboratory policy and procedure manuals, quality procedures, operating procedures (SOP’s), equipment specific requirements, and evaluating and implementing new procedures as necessary.</li>
<li>Develop analytical methods for chemistry based genetic and microbiological assays.</li>
<li>Oversee the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and general records management.</li>

Duties
This job class is designated as in-training. The employee will advance to CO2 after satisfactory completion of the CO1 training requirements. 
In an adult correctional facility, Correctional Officers provide safety and security, and assist in controlling, directing, and monitoring the activities and movement of incarcerated individuals. This includes maintaining security of the institution and controlling movement into, out of and within the institution in accordance with established department methods and procedures. 
Correctional Officers are expected to be a positive role model and work with the incarcerated individuals to help them become productive members of society from the day they arrive under supervision. Correctional Officers use interpersonal skills and good communication skills to correct and counteract criminal thinking while maintaining safe confinement environments for the individuals to pursue a successful re-entry into communities. The successful candidates for Correctional Officer 1 will possess creative thinking, self-confidence, strong role-modeling and good physical and mental conditioning. 
Overtime is an essential function of this position. 
Correctional Officers must successfully complete Correctional Worker Core (CWC), a six-week academy for all correctional workers employed in DOC prison facilities. We know that managing difficult people takes more than force. It takes observation, knowledge, skills and continual practice. Every DOC employee is provided with initial training designed to help assure safe working conditions. In addition, officers participate in the Correctional Officer Achievement Program (COACH), a unique in the nation, comprehensive, year-long, structured on-the-job training program for new correctional officers. In COACH, new officers continue to build on the skills and knowledge they learned in the CWC. With the supervision and coaching of Correctional Sergeants and Job Coaches, new officers gain competency and fluency in the core skills needed to perform duties of a correctional officer.

Due to internal agency promotions, the WSLCB is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Fiscal Analyst 2 in the Spirit Fees Accounting Unit. In this important role, you will support and contribute to the LCB Mission by performing professional financial review and analysis of accounting, auditing and fiscal data in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, governmental auditing standards, statutes or regulations. This position works under general supervision of the Spirit Fees Accounting Supervisor and is required to analyze and interpret reports produced by the internal intranet fee system. Also, this position is responsible for monitoring and analyzing fee reports monthly, coordinating, reconciling and assist with closing the cash month process in the Spirit Fee System. Additionally, monitors licensee missing reports and recommends accounts for suspension or enforcement actions.
 

Duties

Specialized review of complex and involved monthly/quarterly reports for accuracy, timeliness and verify reporting activity:
<ul>
<li>Analyze and entering monthly/quarterly reports and payments into the Tax and Fee Accounting Systems
</li>
<li>Verify and reconcile data entry into Tax and Fee Accounting Systems
</li>
<li>Process and distribute daily cash received for the Spirit Fee Unit
</li>
<li>Review, analyze and correct discrepancies by the cross-checking process for form LIQ-871 (Retailer Receiving Direct Shipment In/Out WA) with form LIQ-162 (Spirits Authorized Rep COA) to verify activity
</li>
<li>Process incoming mail with no cash for Tax and Fee Accounting Units
</li>
<li>Assist with reviewing audit reports for accuracy and post to the Spirit Fees System
</li>
<li>Assist with reviewing correction reports for accuracy and post to the Spirit Fees System
</li>
<li>Assist with documentation of Spirit Fee System and writing business requirements for future enhancements
</li>
<li>Assist with reviewing daily changes to the Tax and Fee Accounting Systems
</li>
<li>Assist with preparing and processing AFRS Journal Vouchers</li>
</ul>
 
Monitors and tracks missing reports and provide suspension recommendations for licensees that are in non-compliance of reporting:<ul>
<li>Review licensees with missing reports and notify them that they are out of compliance
</li>
<li>Update missing report/suspension tracking spreadsheet
</li>
<li>Provide recommendations of licensees that should be sent to suspension
</li>
<li>Index missing report notices
</li>
<li>Monitor in-process reports and contact licensees as needed
</li>
<li>Backup for sending balance due notices to licensee</li>
</ul>
 
Provide Customer Service to Tax and Fee Licensees:<ul>
<li>Receipt and process cash and/or checks in a secure payment room for the collection of Tax and Fee Payments
</li>
<li>Answer phone line for Tax and Fee Accounting Unit
</li>
<li>Respond to email and correspondence regarding tax and fee reporting, on-line reporting, general inquiries from internal and external customers

<li>Interpret rules and regulations related to Tax and Fee reporting and respond to inquiries

<li>Batch, scan and index documents into Imaging System for Tax and Fee Accounting Units
</li>
<li>Back up for open, process and distribute incoming mail for the agency which includes payments for beer, wine and marijuana taxes, spirit retailer and distributor fees, administrative violations, license and permit fees, misc payments, confidential Human Resource, payroll and board member correspondence, etc</li>

Qualifications

Required:
<ul><li>A bachelor's degree, which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting and one year of relevant professional experience.</li></ul>

OR

<ul><li>Any combination of education and relevant professional experience totaling five years. Education must include the required credit hours in accounting.</li></ul>

AND
<ul>
<li>Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Excel and Word.
</li>
<li>One year knowledge and understanding of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
</li>
<li>One year experience interpreting and applying RCW's, WAC's or procedures</li>

Fiscal Analyst 2 (Spirit Fees)

Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner oversees the full cycle recruiting process for TGS Management and its affiliates including sourcing/candidate generation, cold calling, marketing, research, interviewing, assessing, presenting, negotiating, and closing. The Talent Acquisition Partner communicates with department managers to assess departmental needs and meeting those needs through established recruiting strategies, coordinating interviews in a timely manner, and determining each applicant’s qualifications for the applied position. The Talent Acquisition Partner is also responsible for coordinating with the HR Assistant regarding new hire orientation and other onboarding tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Represent TGS Management in a professional manner, particularly when working with candidates, vendors, and other internal/external guests.</li>

Brand Specialist, Grenco Science

Samplers/Field Technicians work largely in the field, driving to customer sites, and working directly with clients to collect the samples. Samplers/Field Technicians will report to the lab at the beginning and end of each shift to receive instructions and drop off samples.

Customer Relations:

<li>Contact clients in conjunction with the Client Service Representative(s) to determine their sampling needs to create a sampling plan (e.g.# of batches, requested analyses, sample information) and schedule sample collection</li>
<li>Make decisions on the condition of the product and advise the client if their product is ready to be sampled</li>
<li>Collect payments from clients</li>
<li>Along with the Client Service Representative, maintain/enhance customer relations</li>
</ul>
Other Duties:

<li>Coordinate intake activities with Client Services Representative(s) and Laboratory Director(s)</li>
<li>Perform other duties as requested</li>

Qualifications
Cannabis testing Samplers/Field Technicians must be over 25 years old, have completed at least 2 years of college coursework, and complete required Sampler/Field Technician training and demonstrate understanding (DOC) prior to active sampling. Samplers/Field Technicians must also have excellent customer relationship management skills. Proof of an excellent driving record and a valid driver’s license are required.
Working Conditions
This job may include some extended work hours or weekend work during harvest and other busy seasons as well as travel to client grow or processing sites.
Physical Requirements
This job requires long periods of standing. This job requires driving.

The Role

The Sales Coordinator will be a key partner and support team member to our entire sales organization. You will partner with sales and operations to keep our business humming as we continue to scale. You’re analytically and technically inclined and can manage, administer and improve our sales systems, processes and policies. You know how to work cross functionally across many teams and are ready to chip in to ensure success for all of GTI.


Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>
Support Sales Manager on any and/all initiatives and responsibilities, as needed, across our sales systems, business analysis, forecasting, incentive compensation and leadership reporting</li>
<li>
Act as lead point of contact for sales analytics requests, improvements and troubleshooting</li>
<li>
Responsible for processing orders to ensure on-time delivery, checking orders/invoices and confirming manifests
</li>
<li>Create, manage, optimize and maintain records, reports, dashboards, workflows and sales process best practices</li>
<li>
Build and maintain key operational reporting and streamline ad-hoc reporting.</li>
<li>
Continuously review and make recommendations for current processes and programs, to ensure efficiency</li>
</ul>


Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of experience in sales, business operations, or analytics role</li>
<li>
Fluency in Microsoft Excel including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables etc for eary turn-key sales use.</li>
<li>
Experience in an inside sales role or supporting role preferred</li>
<li>
Previous experience with Salesforce.com or sales software systems is highly preferred</li>
<li>
Experience building documentation for processes and systems
</li>
<li>Develop and improve the sales process to maximize output and efficiency</li>
<li>
Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment</li>
<li>
Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally</li>

Possesses a high level of critical thinking</li>
<li>
Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information</li>
