Duties: Reynolds Work Release is an adult correctional facility in a minimum custody setting. This position provides safety and security, and assist in controlling, directing, and monitoring the activities of the adult offenders within the facility in accordance with established department methods and procedures.

 Position Overview: 
Reporting to the Device Engineering Lead, The primary responsibility will be to perform Pax Era filling station installation and training to our filling partners throughout the U.S. This work will require domestic travel on an as-needed basis up to half-time. The technician will be responsible for organizing installations, procuring all necessary equipment, traveling to the filler to install the equipment, and training the filler on how to use the equipment. Additionally the technician will provide technical support to the PD team as requested. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The Washington State Department of Corrections is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals for Full-Time and On-Call* Correctional Officer (CO1) positions at the Reynolds Work Release in Seattle, WA. 
Reynolds Work Release is a minimum custody facility that operated and completely staffed by the Department of Corrections. This facility is 24/7 facility that houses 99 male offenders .

Incumbents will be required to attend 6 weeks of full time paid training within 90 days after hire and will be considered for full time permanent and/or temporary vacancies as they occur. All correctional officers, including those in on-call positions, are provided with a benefits package including medical, dental, vision and retirement as well as paid sick leave, holiday pay and paid vacation; provided they work at least 20 hours or more each week.

Duties

Reynolds Work Release is an adult correctional facility in a minimum custody setting. This position provides safety and security, and assist in controlling, directing, and monitoring the activities of the adult offenders within the facility in accordance with established department methods and procedures. 
This position performs the following work:

<li>Write reports, observation and maintaining daily activity logs, assisting offenders regarding problems, programs and behavioral incidents.

<li>Uses independent judgment takes emergency action to include verbal de-escalation.

<li>Maintains order and discipline, reporting of infractions and documentation.

<li>Conducting facility, parameter and residential checks.
</li>
<li>Conducts room and common area searches for contraband.

<li>Conducts bag and pat searches and UA/BA testing.
</li>
<li>Facilitates offender orientation and social outing orientation.
</li>
<li>Responsible for property inventory as well as readying property for transportation and property box-up.
</li>
<li>Monitor offender movements, assign and monitor offenders details, and extra duty.

<li>Maintain and update variety of logs to include but not limited to infraction log, extra duty and facility log.
</li>
<li>Process offender paychecks and issue receipts to offenders.
</li>
<li>Assign out offender draw checks.

<li>Deliver and process mail to offenders.

This role is for a lead developer for our cannabis software startup. We just won the Arcview competition and closed a $600,000 raise.
