The Role

This position is responsible for manicuring wet or dry plant material, breaking down plants, and packaging plant material and infused products. This person will also have some responsibility for tracking product electronically on the company MRP system to ensure compliance with state laws and program regulations.

Summary
 
Working in collaboration with the senior director of analytics, the regional quality laboratory manager will serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for the standardization of analytical testing and consistency in the laboratory.
 
The position will support new locations and laboratory build outs, serve as the point of contact for laboratory information management system (LIMS) issues, support ISO 17025 initiatives, and partner with the management team to achieve key performance indicators (KPI).

Lead the buildout and management of analytical laboratories which includes but is not limited to: ensuring current good laboratory practices (cGLP), support of laboratory safety and EHS programs, and partnering with other laboratory managers and the senior director of analytics to continuously improve the processes.
 Ensure that a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is implemented and compliant with legal and cGLP.
 In cooperation with the ISO Director, ensure implementation and maintain necessary programs and processes to achieve ISO 17025 compliance and accreditation
 Work collaboratively with Quality and Manufacturing groups to ensure KPI metrics are achieved.
 Provide expertise to troubleshoot, maintain and validate analytical instrumentation across all manufacturing and extraction platforms.
