Summary/Objective

We are looking for an outgoing, experienced, and enthusiastic Field Team Manager to develop and lead a team of Brand Ambassadors to be the face of our company and promote MedMen! You will be building premium interactions to promote our stores and events. If you have a passion for Cannabis, excellent communication skills, a team leader, flexible, adapt easily, and overall have an epic attitude, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities

  • Understand the consumer landscape of local market and how to approach and reach a
variety of 21+ consumers on various occasions

  • Hire and train a consistent amount Street Team members across the different MedMen
markets

  • Develop a local market strategy for the Street Team to execute to build brand awareness
  • Engage in outreach to develop and build strong relationships with local market
influencers who can facilitate new consumer facing opportunities, events, and overall

brand awareness

  • Manage, track, analyze and report on field marketing campaigns and bring forward
impact: results, successes and recommendations for improvement

  • Collaborate with Marketing (Marketing will work with Sales Team directly), combining
synergies in order to capitalize on related opportunities (Social, In-Store, and Online

Campaigns)

  • Support Event Manager in coordinating special local events that fall in market and
manage and coordinate Street Team appropriately

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and inspire Street Team to ensure effective, best in class execution and to ignite
passion in the execution of all job functions

  • Be a creative problem solver and approach challenges as an opportunity
  • Focus on talent management; including recruitment, ongoing performance management
and individual development

  • Coach the Team to deal with different types of consumers and effective ways of
communicating

  • Share learnings with Event Manager in order to drive the development of the program in
the right direction

General Management

  • Measure and communicate goals and results to marketing team
  • Manage budget, inventory, and logistics in market
  • Manage Brand Ambassadors payroll and reporting
  • Develop, implement, and manage tools used to assist the Team’s daily operations (ex:
vehicles, uniforms, iPads, giveaways)

  • Manage 10-20 Brand Ambassadors
Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in a field marketing, ambassador/street team program capacity,
and/or experiential marketing

  • 3+ years of experience organizing events
  • Weekend availability is required
  • Knowledge of local market trends and relevant influencers
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting and training abilities
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills
  • Flexibility and resilience, including ability to adapt to changing conditions
  • Willing to travel to local markets
  • Must have a valid driver’s license to operate company-owned vehicles
