Machine Shop Assistant

The Inventory and Tracking Specialist (ITS) will be responsible for the inventory and tracking of all cannabis products as they come into product preparation and are then processed and sent out to retail locations. An individual who is disqualified shall be notified of his or her disqualification. If an individual has been convicted of more than one felony violation of the above-cited sections of the NM Controlled Substances Act or an equivalent federal statute or equivalent statute from any other jurisdiction, the individual shall be notified that he or she is permanently prohibited from participating or being associated with a licensed non-profit producer, approved manufacturer, approved laboratory, or approved courier. Any violation of this subsection shall result in the immediate revocation of any privilege granted under this rule and the act.

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the emerging and fast paced environment of cannabis laboratory testing. The successful candidate will be a sampling technician for our new headquarters in Santa Ana, and will report directly to the Laboratory Manager. They will be responsible for all steps involved in offsite batch sampling for state mandated compliance tests of cannabis products.
This position requires knowledge of representative batch sampling, specifically the ability to pull a representative sample from a large batch for analysis. Experience with lab techniques and standard-operating procedures for sampling is preferred.
