Position Summary:
Growers direct and control greenhouse activities to ensure optimum growth, quality, appearance and health of plants. Communication skills, organization, attention to safety and detail, and time management are critical to the success of the Grower and the overall success of Corso’s Perennials.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage all irrigation and growing operations.</li>
<li>Assist in the development, management and implementation of IPM. Manage and implement sanitation, cultural, and general growing protocols.</li>
<li>Apply pesticides, chemicals and biologicals as required for maintaining crop health.</li>
<li>Assist in the planning of the Grower Assistants ensuring that all work is appropriately prioritized and completed in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Oversee all phases of plant production. Ensures proper planting depth, labeling, and watering.</li>
<li>Walk greenhouse daily to monitor water management, cultural issues, weeds, fertilization, insect and disease issues, sanitation, and overall plant growth, health and appearance.</li>
<li>Monitors plant development to ascertain conditions such as leaf texture, bloom size and the existence of pests or disease; removing substandard or diseased plants to maintain quality standards.</li>
<li>Ensure greenhouse environment is maintained to optimize plant growth (chemical, environmental, and manual pinching).</li>
<li>Assist and oversee minor greenhouse repairs and winterizing of greenhouse structures.</li>
<li>Plan the space allocation for new plants scheduled from production.</li>
<li>Work closely with production to make smooth transition of new plants/production into greenhouses and ensure immediate needs are met on all new production.</li>
<li>Train Grower Assistants to perform their jobs as efficiently and as effectively as possible.</li>
<li>Maintain growing records to include specifics about plant growth, fertilization, pest problems and any treatment of these problems.</li>
<li>Maintains inventory of needed growing supplies such as fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides.</li>
<li>Proven ability to learn new concepts and apply concepts to a variety of situations to improve growing methodology.</li>
<li>Apply chemicals, testing and disease prevention techniques.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and OSHA policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment.</li>

Grower - Perennial Plants

Job Summary Evergreen Treatment Services has been offering medication assisted treatment for adults with opioid use disorders in our federally accredited opioid treatment programs (OTP) since 1973. The dispensary serves as the heartbeat of the OTP since patients new to the program must travel to the clinic six days per week to be assessed for the appropriateness of their medication on any given day and then consume it in front of the dispensary nursing staff. Nurses are the front line contact with all of our patients and are instrumental in developing a positive therapeutic relationship with each one. The Dispensary nurses interface extensively with the medical staff (PA-Cs and ARNPs), the Pharmacist-in-Charge, the counseling staff (all certified Chemical Dependency Professionals, many with advanced degrees), the acupuncturists, and other support staff in the clinic. Nurses provide valuable insight into possible therapeutic interventions for patients who have difficulty stabilizing their opioid use disorder, and are rewarded by the positive visible and cognitive changes exhibited by patients who become stable.
The Dispensary Nurse position is responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of doses of methadone to clients, consistent with the clinic procedures. The nature of this position is fast-paced in high-stress situations and conditions.
Job Functions (May Include):

Position Characteristics

Responsibilities

Summary

TITLE: Sample Transportation Specialist, Part Time and Full Time Positions Available
POSITION SUMMARY: 
A SAMPLING and TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST (STS) is one of the most crucial parts of the testing process! The STS is responsible to travel to California’s licensed cultivation, manufacturing and distribution facilities and personally collect samples using a proven scientific method to ensure the sample is representative of the batch. An STS will collect samples consisting of flower, oil, edibles, and other cannabis products while following a strict standard operating procedure and transporting them to the analytic testing laboratory.
Once the samples arrive at the testing laboratory they will be processed for Potency, Pesticides, Residual Solvents, Microbiological, Toxins, Heavy Metals and filth/foreign inspections. If the testing results pass the California testing criteria set forth, then they are allowed to be sold to the consumers in the State of California. This ensures the health and safety of the population of the great State of California!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
-Ensure area is as clean and free from contaminants and filth as possible and sanitize tools
-Obtain samples from each batch
-Assign a unique sample identifier to each sample
-Follow chain-of-custody protocols to ensure that sample integrity is such that it may be maintained from point of collection to receipt of samples at the laboratory
-Wear proper personal protective equipment items during the entire sampling process
-Properly store and handle samples
-Properly record in the Sample Field Log
-Sample Unpackaged Harvest Batches and Medical Cannabis Goods
-Complete the Sampler Training Requirements
-Package samples in tamper proof packaging
-Transport tamper-proof packaging to PharmLabs or a courier
-While transporting samples the vehicles inside temperature must be kept below 80 degrees Fahrenheit
