Correctional Officers must successfully complete Correctional Worker Core (CWC), a six-week academy for all correctional workers employed in DOC prison facilities. Every DOC employee is provided with initial training designed to help assure safe working conditions. In addition, officers participate in the Correctional Officer Achievement Program (COACH), a unique in the nation, comprehensive, year-long, structured on-the-job training program for new correctional officers. Duties
This job class is designated as in-training. The employee will advance to CO2 after satisfactory completion of the CO1 training requirements. 
In an adult correctional facility, Correctional Officers provide safety and security, and assist in controlling, directing, and monitoring the activities and movement of incarcerated individuals. This includes maintaining security of the institution and controlling movement into, out of and within the institution in accordance with established department methods and procedures. 
Correctional Officers are expected to be a positive role model and work with the incarcerated individuals to help them become productive members of society from the day they arrive under supervision. Correctional Officers use interpersonal skills and good communication skills to correct and counteract criminal thinking while maintaining safe confinement environments for the individuals to pursue a successful re-entry into communities. The successful candidates for Correctional Officer 1 will possess creative thinking, self-confidence, strong role-modeling and good physical and mental conditioning.

The AGA Group is a healthcare staffing firm working with local dental facilities in staffing their vacancies. We are ready to hire Dispensary Assistants for a temp to possible hire assignment with our client in Kansas City. The work hours are M-F 8:30-5:00.
 
The ideal candidate will need to have a high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. Dental experience is not required but a strong work ethic and dependable means of transportation is a must.
 
Ideally you should possess excellent customer service skills and show the ability to learn quickly and are passionate about your job.
 
Job Description
 
This position requires strict attention to the attendance and punctuality policies.
 
Must be able to stand on and off for a continuous eight hours.
 
Dispense and receive supplies and equipment for dentists and their staff.
 
Comply with OSHA, and Hazmat guidelines at all times.
 
Receive, sort, and file materials.
 
Monitor supply of materials with limited shelf life.
 
Monitor supplies and notify manager of the need to reorder.
 
Maintain cleanliness of counter and dispensary.
 
Periodically perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance checks on a variety of equipment.
 
Perform related duties as assigned.
 
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
 
The work attire will be surgical scrubs

Dispensary Supply Assist

Our client, a vertically integrated and diversified multi-state holding company in the cannabis industry, is seeking a Accounting Manager with a thorough understanding of financial reporting systems, procedures, and controls, for their New York office.
 
Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Accounting Manager will will be responsible for all areas relating to external (public) and internal financial reporting.
 
This position requires a current CPA, who must be an experienced, hands-on professional leader, that thrives in a startup environment.
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Compliance: IFRS Compliance as well as compliance with Canadian Securities Commission reporting requirements, including but not limited to annual and quarterly financial statements, earnings releases, and MDA and current reports</li>
<li>Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain financial reporting practices and procedures</li>
<li>Investors: Prospectus Filings andManagement presentations</li>
<li>Transactions: Related party transaction and balance monitoring including complex transaction reviews</li>
<li>Audit: Assistance with the year-end external audits and interim reviews</li>
<li>Other ad-hoc projects as necessary</li>
</ul>
Requirements
 <ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management or related field required</li>
<li>6-8 years public and private experience</li>
<li>Retail or manufacturing experience, including cost accounting a plus</li>
<li>Proven leadership experience in past accounting positions</li>
<li>A thorough understanding of IFRS is required</li>
<li>Very strong knowledge of Workiva and XBRL</li>
<li>Sharp, self-motivated quick learner with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.</li>
<li>Must possess advanced Excel skills as well as full MS Suite</li>
<li>CPA required</li>
</ul>
Compensation: $109-120K Plus Benefits and Equity Participation
