Requirements:

About the role:

Treasury Wine Estates is seeking a motivated seasonal Harvest Intern to assist the Sonoma County Grower Relations Representative with growing season and harvest tasks. Individuals should possess a strong desire to work hands-on and perform efficiently in variable conditions. Must be comfortable working independently as well as part of a high energy team. This is a physically demanding position that will require early mornings and walking in steep and rough terrain. Position starts in July through mid to end of October, season dependent.

We are seeking an Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering Project Manager in the Sacramento, CA area to play a key role in a fiber optic cable implementation project spanning a large urban/suburban market for a Tier One service provider. The Project Manager will engage with our construction partners, subcontractors, in- house personnel, and key customer contacts to coordinate and manage local engineering and construction efforts to successfully execute the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Lead a team of in-market engineering personnel consisting of both direct reports and subcontractor resources.</li>
<li>Oversee the activities of field engineering personnel who are responsible for planning, designing, and obtaining permits for the new cable routes.</li>
<li>Coordinate with drafting and GIS personnel located in remote offices to produce construction drawings to be used to construct the network.</li>
<li>Work as part of a multi-faceted team consisting of engineering, construction, project management, and scheduling personnel, all with a common interest of delivering results to the customer</li>
<li>Daily engagement with customer’s engineering team and project management staff via emails / phone as well as occasional in-person meetings</li>
<li>Report and have accountability to Senior Management (Director/VP/President level) with frequent updates on project progress and risks</li>
<li>Maintain safe working habits and conditions according to regulations and policies.</li>

REQUIREMENTS:

<li>7 - 10 years of OSP Engineering Experience</li>
<li>The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of the telecommunications industry standards, practices and regulations pertaining to the engineering of fiber optic outside plant facilities</li>
<li>Knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods and engineering requirements</li>
<li>Candidate must be familiar with general permitting requirements for State Department of Transportation, as well as other state, county and city permitting agencies</li>

Work Environment
