Responsible for operational and fiscal responsibilities involved in running a successful underground construction for in-house and subcontracted work throughout the state of Michigan.

MANAGEMENT
 
Analyze operations, identify performance issues and make corrective action while maintaining profitable daily MSO workload within all required time frames and specifications.
 Act as a direct liaison between our customers and Management.
 Spearhead the recruitment and selection of all project personnel for underground operations.
 Proactively address employee performance issues or concerns through coaching, counseling and evaluations.
 Ensure proper coordination of personnel schedules and ensure adequate staffing and training.
 Ensure effective time management and coordination of projects to meet customer timeframes.
 Conduct weekly staff meetings to ensure consistent communication and meet safety requirements.
 Perform regular “JSO” to ensure quality, safety and customer service requirements are being met.
 Communicate all project related issues and concerns to immediate supervisor in a professional and timely manner and make recommendations for improvement.
 QUALITY CONTROL
 
Identify, monitor and address problem areas and work to eliminate customer service/quality control issues and complaints.
 Establish workable quotas.
 Resolve escalated customer issues quickly and in a manner that satisfies the customer; educate employees associated with the issue to resolve such issues without further escalation.
 ANALYSIS &amp; DOCUMENTATION
 
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all company and customer required paperwork.
 Monitor and track employee overtime and identify and correct any inefficiencies.
 Monitor all underground operations with both in-house and all subcontracted underground activities
 Ensure technical services operate within approved operating and capital budgets
 Analyze and improve existing procedures and implement changes to better organize the team/department
 Compile daily reports: job schedules and jobs completed for each technician
 Monitor project results through standardized project and quality control for both in-house and all underground subcontracted operations
 Monitor revenues generated by in-house and all subcontracted underground activities for profitability of in-house and subcontracted underground activities.
 POSITION REQUIREMENTS
 
High School Diploma or college a plus
 Minimum 5 years of underground experience, directional boring, open trench.
 Minimum 3 years of Management directing underground activities, directional boring, open trench, site restoration.
 Proficiency using MS Word and Excel
 Management/Supervisory construction experience in running in-house crews and effective monitoring subcontractors in addition to keeping our customer service satisfied.
 Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background, Drug Test and have a valid, unrestricted driver license.

Job Qualifications – Education and Experience

About the role:

Treasury Wine Estates is seeking a motivated seasonal Harvest Intern to assist the Sonoma County Grower Relations Representative with growing season and harvest tasks. Individuals should possess a strong desire to work hands-on and perform efficiently in variable conditions. Must be comfortable working independently as well as part of a high energy team. This is a physically demanding position that will require early mornings and walking in steep and rough terrain. Position starts in July through mid to end of October, season dependent.

Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for pest and disease scouting, vine health and phenology monitoring, crop estimation which will include cluster and vine counts as well as cluster weights. You will also be involved with mapping, data entry and analysis and maturity sampling and processing.
