What will you do? As the ORELAP Manager, you will plan, coordinator, manage and monitor the activities of the laboratory assessors for chemistry and microbiology. You will represent Oregon at TNI and participate in developing national standards for the operation and accreditation of environmental laboratories. Additionally, you will assure that ORELAP meets all requirements to maintain its status as a NELAP Accrediting Body (AB). You will use a high degree of independent judgment and expertise to interpret standards, make decisions regarding laboratory accreditation, establish policy and recommend rules related to the scope of accreditation for drinking water and cannabis testing laboratories mandated to be ORELAP accredited as well as environmental laboratories. These decisions will impact the OHA Oregon Drinking Water Program (DWP) under Public Health. Policy must assure the laboratories reports meet the needs of the DWP which has primacy from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Program policy affects the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) for the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. ORELAP accredits qualified laboratories in the state for Cannabis testing under ORS 475B.550 to 475B.590 and provide Cannabis Sampling Protocols to be consistent with the Medical Marijuana Program rules that are reference to OAR 333-064-0100 through 333-064-0110. Accreditation of the laboratories is required for DEQ to accept data provided by the laboratories.
As the ORELAP Manager, you will ensure Oregon has regulations and policies to administer EPA and NELAC standards which must be followed by all ORELAP accredited laboratories or laboratories seeking ORELAP accreditation.
The ORELAP program accredits 66 primary laboratories within the state of Oregon in addition to 62 primary (which include 4 national EPA laboratories) and 23 secondary out of state laboratories for a total of 151 ORELAP accredited labs. Long range planning is required to assure viability of the program within the agency and that fees established by rule are adequate to cover program activities. You will establish policy and administer the laboratory accreditation program, affecting the agency's mission of promoting the health of Oregonians by helping to provide safe drinking water and the interagency DEQ mission of safe air, water, waste water and underground tank storage monitoring, in addition to assuring tested cannabis products are pesticide/solvent free.

Champlain Valley Dispensary and Southern Vermont Wellness is seeking full-time Sales Associates for its satellite location in Middlebury. This position will provide a positive, friendly and safe environment for the customer at every stage of the appointment and will maintain solid product knowledge about both CVD inventory and relevant trends in the industry. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to contribute to the success of a company who is an industry leader and known for setting the the bar high! We’re looking for someone who will excel as a team member in a fast-paced, non-stop environment, within a tightly controlled, state regulated system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Adhere to the highest customer service standards with patients at all times. Promote an environment focused on patient service, education and safety.</li>
<li>Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.</li>
<li>Schedule customer appointments.</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge about strains, genetics, cannabinoid profiles and ratios, clone cultivation techniques, the effects of cannabis and the variances in these effects based on method of consumption.</li>
<li>Educate patients about the most efficient use of water pipes, vaporizers and other equipment for the purpose of smoking or other methods of cannabis inhalation.</li>
<li>Provide direct service to customers, including financial transactions, proper entry into database, monitoring of product sold, and labeling purchased product.</li>
<li>Dispense medicine accurately and efficiently through the combined use of innate math skills and of the point of Sale (POS) system and cash register.</li>
<li>Maintain strict company controls over inventory and other dispensary assets.</li>
<li>Help maintain current stock of member handbooks, intake forms and promotional and educational items.</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness of dispensary through regular dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, and other company sanitation protocols.</li>
<li>Attend weekly department meetings.</li>
<li>Follow the Vermont State Medical Marijuana Program guidelines.</li>

Required qualifications: 
Education: 
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED.</li></ul>
Experience: 
<ul>
<li>At least one year of retail experience.</li>
<li>Retail, cash handling and Point of Sales (POS) experience.</li>
<li>Strong experience in providing customer service.</li>
</ul>
Skills and Abilities: 
<ul>
<li>Ability to maintain a high level of organization, patience and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.</li>
<li>Must be self-directed and detail-oriented with strong problem solving and decision making skills.</li>
<li>Must be flexible, team-oriented with strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Apple OS 10+, and the ability to learn new software systems that are specific to the industry.</li>
<li>Must successfully complete a criminal record check with the Vermont Crime Information Center.</li>

Dispensary Sales Associate

TRIM TEAM/PROCESSING LEAD-This Trim/Processing lead is responsible for leading a team of second shift cannabis trimmers in meeting quality standards and production goals. The person in this role will ensure team adherence to strict and detailed company policies and state regulations.
Essential Functions: 
<ul>
<li>-The ideal candidate will be able to work with, help, guide, challenge and motivate other trim team members in order to create an efficient cohesive unit.</li>
<li>- The ability to research, evaluate and adapt to new methods, in order to meet or exceed goals is desirable.</li>
<li>-The successful candidate will exhibit extraordinary organizational, tracking and communication skills.</li>
<li>-This position requires the ability to work independently when needed, but also to work efficiently as the leader of a team of trimmers.</li>
<li>-The successful candidate will manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.</li>
<li>-The employee must be able to follow basic instructions and immediately integrate feedback and directions into their work.</li>
<li>-Trim leader hold ultimate accountability for ensuring all team members maintain strict compliance with all regulations and procedures.</li>
<li>-Trim leader is responsible for oversight of clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day.</li>
</ul>
Additional Functions: 
<ul>
<li>-Assisting with packaging and other processing/cultivation duties as assigned by direct supervisor.</li>
<li>-Must communicate clearly with others and be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique.</li>
<li>-Use of logical judgment in adhering to established protocols in regard to product processing, keeping quality and goals in mind.</li>
<li>-Creating a positive team environment that produces high quality manicured finished material, while meeting and/or exceeding pre-determined goals.</li>
<li>-The 32 hours of this position are M.T.TH.F 2:30-11pm.Subject to change.

Requirements
-Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
-Must submit to and pass all required background checks.
-Must be able to sit, stand, squat, bend, and reach for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
-Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds repeatedly with extreme care.
