Your opportunity at a glance 
The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board's Enforcement and Education division is accepting applications for LCB Enforcement Officer 1's (LEO1) In-Training. The Enforcement and Education Division is headquartered in Olympia and has four regional offices in Tacoma, Seattle, Mount Vernon and Spokane.
These positions begin as entry level LCB Enforcement Officer 1 and must successfully complete the 720 hour Basic Law Enforcement training and the Field Training Officer program. Upon completion of the programs, LEO1's will be promoted to the LCB Enforcement Officer 2 (LEO2) level.
 
The Enforcement Division works with approximately 13,000 liquor and cannabis licensees and their employees by providing education and counseling on liquor &amp; cannabis licensing laws and regulations. LCB Enforcement Officers inspect premises, investigate complaints, and conduct compliance checks. At times they may take administrative and criminal action against licensees, employees, and the public who violate state liquor, tobacco and cannabis laws.
 
The Enforcement and Education division serves to protect the public by ensuring legal acquisition and responsible use of alcohol, cannabis and tobacco. The division's employees carry out their duties with the highest standards of personal and professional ethics based on honesty, integrity and trust. Every individual who comes in contact with a division employee is to be treated with the highest level of courtesy and respect.
 

Duties

 Under a limited law enforcement commission, LCB Enforcement Officers enforce state liquor, tobacco, and cannabis laws and regulations through citations, arrests, and administrative actions applicable to retailers, non-retailers, liquor, tobacco, and cannabis employees, and underage violators within an assigned geographic area. The area may include about 250 or more liquor licensed businesses and about 150 or more tobacco licensees. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
<ul>
<li>Under close supervision and based on complaints, inspections, and strategic goals / plans, conduct checks including preparing and completing comprehensive reports, data entry tracking into the Electronic Notebook, and evidence preservation utilizing chain of custody methods.
</li>
<li>Organize and conducts random, unannounced inspections of licensed liquor, tobacco, and cannabis establishments to check for compliance with state laws and provides technical assistance as necessary.
</li>
<li>Respond to Department of Health referrals and take appropriate enforcement action.
</li>
<li>Work with federal agencies in conducting contraband/counterfeit cigarette cases.
</li>
<li>Officer is expected to work a minimum of 20 night and weekend hours, during a 160 hour work cycle, as required depending on assigned or on-going activities and investigations, or assignment from division management or supervisor.
</li>
<li>Under close supervision, schedules and conducts random and targeted liquor, tobacco, and cannabis compliance checks, utilizing under-aged investigative aides. Issues administrative or criminal enforcement actions. Completes comprehensive reports, and evidence preservation utilizing chain of custody methods.
</li>
<li>Handles and is accountable for investigative funds.
</li>
<li>Under close supervision, schedule and conduct field work involving premise inspections as needed for complaint investigations on liquor, tobacco, and marijuana violations. Identify any liquor, tobacco, and cannabis violations and take appropriate administrative or criminal enforcement actions.
</li>
<li>Under the direction of the Field Training Officer, provides education and training to retail licensees and their employees regarding responsible liquor, tobacco, and cannabis sales. Work with licensees regarding DUI stats and over service classes.
</li>
<li>Completes all annual inspections of licensed premises within your assigned area once per year.
</li>
<li>Attends to administrative duties, such as training, and testifying in court or at administrative hearings. Attends meetings and committee assignments.</li>
</ul>
 

Qualifications

 Required:
<ul>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or GED.
</li>
<li>Must be 20 1/2 years old and possess a valid Washington State Driver's License.
</li>
<li>Must be a US Citizen.
</li>
<li>Must be able to speak and write in English, present information to individuals or in a group setting in a manner that is clear and easily understood.
</li>
<li>No felony or domestic violence convictions.
</li>
<li>No use or possession of illegal narcotics or controlled substances within the past five years.
</li>
<li>Ability to effectively communicate with irate or intoxicated people.
</li>
<li>Have the physical ability to:

<li>Employ the senses of sight (both day and night), touch, smell, and hear while performing various job requirements.
</li>
<li>Lift and carry up to 50 lbs when inspecting premises or processing evidence.

 Position Description
 
Position Purpose

The Manager provides guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to the Grower Inventory &amp; Customer Reconciliation team by acting as the subject matter expert of the audit, account reconciliation, and exception escalation process. The role will focus on establishing standardized procedures, developing an annual plan (but subject to intra-period ad hoc changes due to business requirements), measuring and communicating audit progress, and completing reconciliations in relation to customer stock audits. The Manager is responsible for managing and executing the Annual Customer Audit Plan, while ensuring accuracy in all audit reconciliations and compliance with the IFCO authority matrix. The Manager will also work closely with the grower customer base and IFCO’s grower sales team to escalate unresolved reconciliations through to customer billings, settlement negotiations, and cash collections. The Manager will guide the team to improve grower reporting and compliance processes to increase the efficiency of the 80+MM RPC pool, and supervise multiple new field roles designed to improve customer compliance.

 The Manager is responsible for constructively listening, motivating, providing guidance and for tracking team progress and results. She is also responsible for ensuring that all policies, and procedures are up‐to‐date. Detects practices that are and are not working and identifies areas for process improvement and make recommendations to leadership. Assess the need for internal resource and customer training.

 Major/Key Accountabilities

Enforce the stock audit procedures that are specific to the NA market but are consistent with the objectives of the Global Audit Policy</li>

New Product Development Manager

Onward Search is on the hunt for a Sr. Designer/ Art Director with excellent packaging design experience to join our start-up client in the Cannabis industry.
 
You'll report to the Creative Director and be responsible for the concept, design, and execution of packaging for variety of products that span food, cosmetics, etc.
 
You will work with packaging engineers to create new packaging concepts, help with the sourcing of materials, to implement designs that match the overall brand that our client is creating.
 
We are seeking Sr. Designer/ Art Directors who meet the following requirements:
 
5+ Yeas experience in design with an emphasis on packaging design
 Must have strong conceptual ability
 Must have experience working on new product launches and creating packaging from concept thru production
 Must be a hands-on designer and who ideally follows the latest trends in branding and packaging

Senior Designer/ Art Director - Packaging

Job Description The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for developing and delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout PharmaCann, LLC and increasing PharmaCann’s visibility and reputation as an employer of choice in our locations in Illinois and New York. The Recruiter will achieve success by interfacing with employees and hiring managers to understand and define recruiting needs for all technical and non-technical positions, by developing recruiting strategies, identifying recruiting channels, both traditional and innovative, and sourcing the best possible talent for open positions.

The Recruiter will also be responsible for working with the management team to develop practices for successful onboarding of new employees and creating highly satisfied employees.

Performance against KPIs, such as time to hire, recruiting cost per employee, and employee/manager satisfaction ratings after hire, will be the key measures of success for this position.

Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement strategies for identifying and attracting top talent to the PharmaCann team;</li>
<li>Identify and develop recruiting channels appropriate for differing positions, levels of experience, etc. with an emphasis on reaching passive candidates;</li>
<li>Maintain an active pipeline of candidates to minimize hiring time;</li>
<li>Interact with hiring managers to understand hiring projections, key qualifications for positions (including desired behavioral traits), draft job descriptions, design interview questions, and select and schedule interview panels;</li>
<li>Perform key functions in the recruiting process including initial screening interviews, background and reference checking, communicating with candidates, and extending and negotiating employment offers;</li>
<li>Implement interviewing process to include competency-based interviewing process.</li>
<li>Establish standardized onboarding practices for all new employees and ensure the smooth and successful onboarding of all new employees.</li>
<li>Build relationships with local Colleges and Universities.</li>
<li>Attend career fairs and networking events.</li>
<li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications <ul>
<li>Bachelor in Business Administration or equivalent degree/experience. Emphasis in human resource management, organizational management, etc. highly desirable.</li>
<li>3+ year’s recruiting experience across a wide range of disciplines in a high growth environment.</li>
<li>Experience with behavioral and competency based interviewing techniques a plus.</li>
<li>Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences and Agriculture recruiting experience preferred.</li>
<li>Familiarity with the use of online recruiting tools, hiring assessment tools, etc.</li>

DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES *
 <ul>
<li>Work closely with company associates and other department managers to determine supply needs, quality and delivery requirements.</li>
<li>Update computerized and physical inventory ongoing and ensure inventory counts are accurate at all times.</li>
<li>Input purchase orders to assist with order fulfillment Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li>
<li>Record, count, and stock items received.</li>
<li>Maintain stock rotation using FIFO.</li>
<li>Work directly with Manager to ensure is the warehouse is maintained in an organized and efficient manner.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels and reconcile physical inventories with records.</li>
<li>Shipping and receiving duties: Inspects shipments for accuracy and completeness, receive/unpack items as necessary.</li>
<li>Monitors reorder POC’s (point of contacts) to initiate action to replenish stock.</li>
<li>Assists with physical inventory of warehouse stock.</li>
<li>Assist with and actively participate in internal and external inventory and packaged goods audits.</li>
<li>Fulfill all duties related to packaging finished stock and preparing orders for delivery in accordance with established regulations, labeling requirements, etc.</li>
<li>Comply with all rules and regulations as identified by the state of Arizona.</li>
<li>Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.</li>

Requirements: 
QUALIFICATIONS *

<li>2+ years of experience in a warehouse setting in areas related inventory, packaging, and order fulfillment.</li>
<li>Good interpersonal skills; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.</li>
<li>Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high-stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.</li>
<li>Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.</li>
<li>Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday. Must be capable of sitting in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills both verbally and through written media.</li>
