Job Summary

An individual who can think, eat, and breathe data. This person is responsible for understanding, cleansing, interpreting, and analyzing data to support our business. Kush Bottles is looking for a Data Analyst focused on creating and managing reports and reporting tools such as dashboards for the company's executives and management team. This position will have exposure throughout the organization and provide support to team leaders looking to use data to solve complex problems and optimize the business.

Examples of Essential Functions:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Build reports relating to sales performance, product movement and inventory management, operational efficiency, etc.</li>
<li>
Manage reports to ensure they remain relevant to the audiences as the company grows</li>
<li>
Handle all NetSuite reporting dashboard setup and dashboard related questions by leaders and employees</li>
<li>
Update our monthly sales goal tracking dashboard, which will consist of 5 custom reports that need to be created each month</li>
<li>
Be our in-house expert on NetSuite reports and saved searches and respond to all inquiries</li>
<li>
Build presentations with sales and marketing data for our monthly Sales &amp; Operations Planning meetings</li>
<li>
Work with product marketing to pull data to help make decisions on which products to source and how to distribute the products</li>
<li>
Work with digital marketing to pull custom lists for special targeted campaigns, and to measure the effectiveness of these campaigns</li>
<li>
Work with operations to report on effectiveness against certain metrics like on time delivery, QC time, labor usage, etc.</li>
<li>
Work with supply chain to report on vendor related metrics such as on time delivery as well as demand forecasting</li>

Qualifications Guidelines

Lead and manage registered medical marijuana dispensary while ensuring exemplary customer service/satisfaction

Our client, a vertically integrated female-led company in the cannabis industry, is seeking a Production Operations Manager for their facility near Lake George, NY. The company cultivates, manufactures, and dispenses the highest-quality medical marijuana products available on the market.
 
The Production Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations within their cultivation and manufacturing facilities, while maintaining strict compliance with New York State Regulations, and supervise department managers for cultivation, manufacturing, and inventory.
 
Job Description and Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Conduct weekly team meetings with the department managers within the companys cultivation and manufacturing facility geared towards reviewing and maintaining production and development schedules.</li>
<li>Provide a weekly report on all departments within the facility to companys executives.</li>
<li>Perform HR-type duties including assisting department managers in selecting candidates to interview, approving PTO requests, and conducting performance reviews for the department managers.</li>
<li>Ensure that all positions within the facility are properly staffed, and maintain the essential functions of the Cultivation and Manufacturing Facility through hiring and overseeing technicians including; HVAC, security, construction, outdoor and maintenance.</li>
<li>Responsibility for troubleshooting manufacturing equipment or production issues, and implement changes and improvements as necessary and promote a culture of continuous change and improvement within the facility.</li>
<li>Oversee the incorporation of more automated systems for reporting, daily scheduling, and production within the their facility.</li>
<li>Represent the company in local organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Committee, and other community-centered organizations.</li>
<li>Develop, edit and produce Standard Operating Procedure documents for the companys bi-annual licensing renewals.</li>
<li>Travel to and attend at least 3 or more industry conferences and educational summits for the purpose of networking and sourcing products or services that may improve operations, and travel to weekly or bi-weekly meetings close to New York City.</li>
<li>Develop and present cost analyses to upper management related to proposed purchases, upgrades, or system changes.</li>
<li>Organize and oversee time trials to measure efficiency and aid in a practical, yet aggressive production schedule.</li>

Job Requirements and Competencies
 <ul>
<li>Bachelors degree in related field required</li>
<li>10+ years of experience in food, pharmaceutical, or other manufacturing settings</li>
<li>5+ years of related management experience</li>
<li>Excellent reporting capabilities, with technical skills related to record keeping, data analysis and presentations</li>
<li>Experience using programs such as Smartsheet and Tableau for organization and data reporting</li>
<li>Cannabis Industry Experience a Plus</li>
</ul>

As a Senior Accountant at GTI, you will be responsible for supporting Accounting operations on our Finance team. Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>
Oversee the financials for up to two market operations including cultivation, dispensary and wholesale</li>
<li>
Support all functions of the Finance team including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, journal entries, check runs, reconciliations, month-end close, cash management and reporting</li>
<li>
Performs period-end financial close responsibilities. Prepares data for financial statements, data for quarterly and annual regulatory filings using applicable systems
</li>
<li>Duties include preparing journal entries and coding invoices/vouchers</li>
<li>
Performs reconciliations for area supported and analyzes resulting variances. Proposes and prepares any adjusting entries necessary resulting from reconciliations
</li>
<li>Supports internal customers by researching questions and investigating variances on the financial statements
</li>
<li>Partner with senior Accounting and Finance team members with special projects and process improvement initiatives</li>
</ul>


Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field, Master’s Degree or CPA certification preferred
</li>
<li>3+ years experience in Accounting</li>
<li>
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office required</li>
<li>
Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness</li>
<li>
Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment</li>
<li>
