Position Description:

The position includes physical requirements and ability to distinguish all colors used in telephone cable; ability to work aloft from ladders, platforms, poles (with climbers); and bucket trucks. Possess the ability to lift, carry, set up and secure 28 foot ladder; the ability to load/transfer standard nitrogen cylinders. Requires heavy lifting, pulling, placing, and digging. Work schedules are typically 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, or could be required to perform stand by duties or on call work assignments.

Job Overview
The Sales Representative will be tasked with opening and managing OLCC recreational dispensary accounts. Sales Reps are expected to call, email, visit and schedule meetings with dispensaries daily. Representatives will oversee, roughly, 100 storefronts. Sales goals, strategies and guidelines will be provided on a regular basis.

Our members work principally in retail food stores; food processing, packing and manufacturing plants; department and drug stores; and distillery, cannabis, and chemical industries. Job Description: Law clerks work closely with attorneys to produce legal research and writing on worker issues, including labor and civil rights laws and related legal proceedings and legislation. When possible, law clerks will draft court documents, briefs, and research memoranda. Law clerks also assist in developing potential litigation and counseling decision-makers. We involve law clerks as much as possible in discussions with attorneys and staff so that clerks may understand how their work fits into a case and how unions develop strategies for organizing workers and advancing worker interests. With approval, law clerks may use papers they draft for writing samples. Requirements: Strong written and oral communication skills. Commitment to progressive social change, worker rights, the labor movement, and/or economic justice. Completion of one year of law school. Compensation and hours: $20.00 per hour. At least 20 hours/wk and preferably with as many consecutive hours per day and days per week as possible. Schedule is flexible.
