As an Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for extending the existing systems and procedures and built them out using a continuous process improvement process.
 
Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program</li>
<li>Work directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes</li>
<li>Develop and enhance an information security management framework</li>
<li>Understand and interact with related disciplines through committees to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems and services</li>
<li>Provide leadership to the enterprise's information security organization</li>
<li>Partner with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns</li>
<li>Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems</li>
<li>Proactively audit our systems and new technologies for continuous improvement</li>
<li>Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested;</li>
<li>Review and approve security policies, controls and cyber incident response planning;</li>
<li>Approve identity and access policies;</li>
</ul>
You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
 
Requirements
 <ul>
<li>Master’s Degree in computer science is required</li>
<li>Professional security management certification</li>
<li>Minimum of eight years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs</li>
<li>Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity</li>
<li>Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams</li>
<li>Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management including managed services.</li>
<li>Experience with modern software frameworks at the level of a software engineer.</li>
<li>Experience with modern network architecture</li>
<li>Preferably experience with PCI compliance</li>
<li>Experience with Cloud computing/Elastic computing across virtualized environments.</li>

Information Security Officer

The purpose of this position is to document dispensary practices and procedures, conduct a costing exercise, support introduction of a meds check-in / check-out process for headquarters and MSTs, assist with development of an inventory system, assist with packing of medicines or other standard dispensary tasks.
Specific tasks are as follows:
<ul>
<li>Shadowing and recording dispensary processes.</li>
<li>Developing and implementing inventory system for check-in and check-out of all medicines and supplies at Timmy HQ (per audit recommendations).</li>
<li>Drafting protocol and tools for medicine check-in process at MST site (per audit recommendations).</li>
<li>Costing / expense tracking for medicines &amp; supplies.</li>
</ul>
Projects are subject to change based on need.
Internship Duration and Hourly Commitment: 
The duration of the internship is dependent on the student’s availability, but ideally 2-3 months for 20-40 hours per week. Changes to the timeframe and hours of work are flexible according to the student’s schedule and program requirements.
