Pauley Construction is currently seeking an experienced Superintendent of Construction to report out of our Phoenix, Arizona location. This is for long-term continuous employment. This is a Full-Time; FLSA Exempt, benefit eligible position that reports directly to the Area Manager. Must have extensive experience in underground construction, telecommunications and working on large scale long term projects.

Position Information:

The position of Superintendent within the structure of Pauley Construction is required to manage an individual business unit. A Superintendent’s business unit assignment will be generally defined by one customer, a single contract or project assignment. The customer structure goal of the company is for each Superintendent to be assigned a single customer requiring a single focus. The Superintendent will have full responsibility for managing all project assignments and crew supervision of each business unit. The geographic area or customer assignment will be based on accomplishing the five focus area goals outlined below:

<li>Financial Results, Forecasting, A/R &amp; WIP – to drive operational excellence</li>
<li>Business Development – to deliver exceptional value to our customers</li>

<li>Fleet Asset Systems Management &amp; Facilities – overall utilization of idle, reduced rental, and cap ex</li>
</ul>
Crew Foremen, Crew Leader, and Operator Foremen selection should be based on accomplishing the goals and objectives as outlined in the job description for these positions. Redundant customer assignments may require the position of Supervisor(s) reporting to a Superintendent. (See job description for Supervisor).

The Area, Project or District Manager will assign all customer, contract, project, or geographic locations to each Superintendent Business Unit.

The main objective of a Superintendent is to provide the leadership, accountability and discipline assuring safe, qualified, and productive crews for all customer and project assignments. Crew Foreman, Crew Leader, and Operator Foreman selection should also be based on a serious focus regarding safety, experience, quality assurance, and a professional representation of Pauley Construction to each customer and the community.

Failure to successfully manage the goals and objectives of the company and requiring constant supervision and assistance from others will result in demotion or termination of the Superintendent. The Superintendent’s business unit is expected to be a well-managed and disciplined team that is qualified and professional in all aspects of the job requirements.

Superintendent of Construction - Phoenix, Arizona

Pauley Construction is looking for Heavy Equipment Operators in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Must have experience digging around existing utilities. Experience with backhoe, skid steer, dumb truck and/or mini-excavator is a plus. Class A CDL is required for this position. This is a Full-Time; FLSA Non-Exempt; Benefits Eligible position reporting directly to the Construction Supervisor.

Position Description:

Position consists of general construction Operator. Travel is required but typically within the state. General utility installation, repairs, maintenance of telephone and cable systems. Work schedules are typically 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Requires heavy lifting, pulling, placing, and digging, as required by Pauley Construction, Inc. Reports daily to Crew lead/Foreman.

The Role

The Director, Total Rewards is arguably the most important role in our organization. This role will be responsible for the development and management of all GTI’s benefits compensation, payroll and compliance.

Our ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in Payroll, Benefits, Compensation and Systems with an incredible keen eye for detail and accuracy. You have the experience and the tenacity to quickly learn GTI’s organization and challenges of the cannabis industry, as well as, foresee any obstacles. You are ready to take on a challenge that entails operating at a strategic level, establishing guidelines and standard operating procedures, platform integrations, all the while, executing day-to-day tasks with a high level of accuracy.


Responsibilities - Payroll Administration
<ul>
<li>
Coordinate workflow to ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner</li>
<li>
Administer four payroll runs (bi-weekly and semi-monthly) for over 380 employees which include hourly, non-exempt, salaried, exempt</li>
<li>
Process all employee changes as it relates to compensation changes/adjustments, changes in employment status, deductions, garnishments, terminations, etc.</li>
<li>
Resolve payroll discrepancies, process adjustments, manual checks and answer employee and management inquiries, as needed and in a timely manner</li>
<li>
Audit time and attendance
</li>
<li>Process garnishments, child support orders, quarterly and annual tax verifications, worker compensation reports, as needed</li>
<li>
Perform year-end responsibilities as it relates to W-2 verification, moving-expenses</li>
<li>
Complete registration and set up of new State and SUI accounts accurately</li>
<li>
Support payroll auditing and reporting activity including annual benefit and 401k census, form 5500, EEO-1 reporting</li>

Manage requests for employment verification, as requested</li>

Responsibilities - HRIS Maintenance &amp; Administration

<ul>
<li>Identify the business needs and requirements, to evaluate solutions and vendors, to select, test, and deploy the system, and to train the users</li>
<li>
Lead the design, development, testing, implementation, security, and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and all other HR-related systems</li>
<li>
Own the administration of the day-to-day operations of maintaining the accuracy and integrity of HR systems</li>
<li>
Manage maintenance of HR-related information systems aligned to payroll, compensation, benefits, and talent management to ensure data integrity and to analyze data flows</li>
<li>
Coordinate the set up and seamless maintenance of data feeds and vendor interfaces</li>
<li>
Maintain systems data integrity and systems accuracy</li>
<li>
Manage and assist with audits and evaluations, validation of data, and analysis of data transactions within HR-related systems to perform general maintenance, to ensure efficient operations, and to enable systems controls and processes</li>

Collaborate with the Financial Analyst team to ensure that any and all systems can generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports needed for the analyst team for corporate development</li>

Responsibilities - Benefits Design &amp; Administration
<ul>

Manages employee benefit plans, ensuring compliance and competitiveness</li>
<li>
Build scalable benefits enrollment and administration processes, infrastructure and systems that allow for rapid, seamless integration of all entities

<li>Manage eligibility data, enrollment, deductions and process contributions for company health benefits, 401k, Flex and any other related plans including COBRA payments</li>
<li>
Audit benefit records to ensure accuracy and consistency of data across various benefit systems both internally and externally with vendors</li>
<li>
Maintain relationships with benefit brokers and third party administrators for medical, dental, flexible spending plans, 401k.</li>
<li>
Perform monthly review of Benefit Plan billing statements to ensure all additions, changes, and terminations are updated with our Benefit vendors on a regular basis</li>

Assist employees with benefit related questions or issues</li>
<li>
Complete Annual Open Enrollment setup for online benefit enrollment</li>
<li>
Plan and administer Annual Open Enrollment including communication, enrollment tracking, forms, changes, and updating vendor websites with new information</li>

Distribute compliance information/mailings to employees as needed</li>

Evaluate and make strategic recommendations for ongoing enhancements or changes to our comprehensive benefit offerings</li>

Qualifications

Must have experience processing non-exempt, hourly employees and proven success in a fast-paced, high-growth organization

Job Summary – Laboratory Manager
Cascadia Labs has an immediate opportunity at our Redwood Valley laboratory located on our client’s scenic campus near Ukiah, CA. The Laboratory Manager will lead a team of top-notch, like-minded individuals who embrace and share in the same vision, core values and integrity of the science.

The Laboratory Manager oversees all aspects of the laboratory, including personnel and day-to-day operations.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
