The Cannabis Associate will receive support and direction from other attorneys within the firm, but successful candidates must be independently motivated and highly organized. Experience in the cannabis industry, either as an attorney, business owner, or advocate is desirable.
Requirements
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have the following skills, abilities, and experience:
<ul>
<li>2-5 years of real estate, land use, and/or regulatory compliance experience for businesses in a highly regulated industry</li>
<li>Knowledge of and experience with Oregon’s cannabis industry (or, at minimum, a demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn)</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage several projects with minimal to no supervision</li>
<li>Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Sharp attention to detail</li>
<li>Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while efficiently managing time and priorities</li>
<li>Desire and ability to learn the constantly evolving landscape of cannabis law and be independently motivated to learn and improve abilities and skills</li>

Cannabis Associate

Our cannabis manufacturing startup is seeking applicants to join a fast-growing packaging team! If hired, you’ll get first-hand experience packaging our products in a friendly, fast-paced environment. Experience with cannabis is not required. Training will be given upon hiring.
This position requires you be available between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
– Must be 21 years old or older and able to lift at least 25 pounds.
– Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– Must demonstrate time management skills.
– Strong attention to detail is a plus.
– Packaging experience is a plus but not required, training upon hiring.
