PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 
The Cannabis Control Commission (Commission) Investigator conducts inspections and investigations of licensed marijuana establishments in the Commonwealth to ensure understanding and compliance with laws, rules and regulations. A significant component of this position includes visiting marijuana establishments across the Commonwealth and completing regulatory compliance inspections/audits targeting operational requirements, and may include specific cultivation product manufacturing and, retail requirements as pertains to the license type, as well as facility management requirements. Investigators will assist in the administration of the registration and licensing compliance process for marijuana establishments and individual registered marijuana establishment agents as defined in the regulations.
 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Conducts and reports about on-site inspections of marijuana establishments;</li>
<li>Tracks compliance with all relevant laws and regulations through on-site visits, auditing and inspection of records;</li>
<li>Responds to inquiries in a reasonable timeframe via on-site visits, telephone, email and/or other written correspondence;
</li>
<li>Assists with ongoing documentation and implementation of Commission policies and procedures in an effort to reflect best practices in this new industry;</li>
<li>Reviews policies, processes and oversight of marijuana establishments to ensure compliance with the regulations (examples of specific policies may include: security policies; product safety policies, sanitation and waste disposal policies).</li>
<li>Assists Investigations and Enforcement Division by gathering, verifying, and reviewing information relating to any investigation.</li>
<li>Reviews the implementation of marijuana establishment policies and procedures to ensure the security of the cultivation, processing and dispensing of marijuana;</li>
<li>Reviews marijuana establishment processes and procedures for determining the placement and proper use of surveillance cameras and other security controls;</li>
<li>Reviews standards and implementation for storage facilities regarding the use of lighting, ventilation, labeling, security procedures, access controls, etc.;</li>
<li>Inspects procedures outlined in the marijuana establishment operational documents to ensure compliance with required seed-to-sale tracking;
</li>
<li>Reviews and assesses protocols for the testing of marijuana and marijuana products;</li>
<li>Reviews all operational policies and procedures, such as: quality control, record keeping and reporting, staffing plans, human resources policies, staff training, business records for accounting administration and operations standards;</li>
<li>Responds to rule violations, incidents or complaints by issuing deficiency statements and evaluating and approving plans for corrective action;</li>
<li>Drafts investigative dispositions;</li>
<li>Represents Commission in administrative or court hearings related to non-compliance;</li>
<li>Confers with parties to complaints in order to resolve issues and encourage compliance with established laws, rules and regulations through settlement, where appropriate;</li>
<li>Obtains evidence and establishes facts concerning non-compliance with laws, rules and regulations regarding marijuana cultivation, processing and distribution;</li>
<li>Maintains thorough documentation of inspections and makes corrective action recommendations;</li>
<li>Submits necessary documents for enforcement within time period as directed;</li>
<li>Complies with quality control procedures to ensure information is accurate and complete;</li>
<li>
Prepares reports concerning assigned activities in order to provide requested information and make appropriate recommendations;

<li>Maintains professional relationships with assigned agency personnel and various private, local, state and federal agencies;</li>

<li>Communicates as requested with state and local agencies, including law enforcement and local boards of health;</li>
<li>Responds to inquiries and complaints to provide information concerning medical use of marijuana and adult-use of marijuana laws, regulations, rules, and procedures;</li>
<li>Performs related duties such as maintaining records, attending meetings and preparing correspondence including emails and letters;</li>
<li>Assists in determining compliance with applicable laws and standards and recommending enforcement actions and corrective measures;</li>
<li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>

SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $80,000

Investigator

Summary/Objective
As a leading Cannabis grower, our client operates controlled environment growing facilities in multiple locations. Establishing and sharing industry-leading knowledge, technologies and best practices relevant to controlled environment growing of Cannabis in hydroponic substrates is key a responsibility of this role. This position will help optimize production efficiencies, deliver on precision growing metrics, lead and train members of the Agronomy team in extending best practices and technologies. This position will also work collaboratively with Plant Breeding, Plant Health and Program Management in strategic research interests, help design and implement solutions to solve various plant growing challenges across all our client’s growing operations.
Essential Functions

Agronomist

Evergreen Treatment Services has been offering medication assisted treatment for adults with opioid use disorders in our federally accredited opioid treatment programs (OTP) since 1973. The dispensary serves as the heartbeat of the OTP since patients new to the program must travel to the clinic six days per week to be assessed for the appropriateness of their medication on any given day and then consume it in front of the dispensary nursing staff. Nurses are the front line contact with all of our patients and are instrumental in developing a positive therapeutic relationship with each one. The Dispensary nurses interface extensively with the medical staff (PA-Cs and ARNPs), the Pharmacist-in-Charge, the counseling staff (all certified Chemical Dependency Professionals, many with advanced degrees) and other support staff in the clinic. Nurses provide valuable insight into possible therapeutic interventions for patients who have difficulty stabilizing their opioid use disorder, and are rewarded by the positive visible and cognitive changes exhibited by patients who become stable.
The Dispensary Nurse position is responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of doses of methadone to clients, consistent with the clinic procedures. The nature of this position is fast-paced in high-stress situations and conditions.

Job Functions (May Include):

Job Description Job Summary

Mayflower is one of the few license holders in Massachusetts and as such we are uniquely positioned for market leadership. We will be opening one of the 3 Boston approved dispensaries. In addition, we have invested in a 36,000sf state of the art cultivation facility to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and quality of our products.
We are currently looking for dispensary agents to work in our first registered medical dispensary (RMD) located in Allston. The dispensary agent reports directly to the assistant manager and is responsible for providing exemplary customer service to all our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
<ul>
<li>Engage and educate patients in a positive manner</li>
<li>Ensure patient intake forms are accurate and complete</li>
<li>Assist in qualifying patients for our Verified Financial Hardship (VFH) program</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with all local and state regulations</li>
<li>Perform general office work, such as filing records, operating copy machines, and using email</li>
<li>Provide RMD General and Assistant Managers with patient feedback on a timely basis</li>
<li>Maintain proper recordkeeping such as patient intake forms, cash handling records, chain of custody documents and waste disposal logs</li>
<li>Participate in 1 minute meetings at the start of every shift to ensure uniformity in message and goals</li>
<li>Consistently deliver excellent, and compassionate patient services</li>
<li>Participate in monthly product inventory review</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Skills
<ul>
<li>Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation</li>
<li>Experience in retail, hospitality or patient services, preferred</li>
<li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule (nights and/or weekends)</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with basic math skills</li>
<li>Participates and embraces a highly motivated team environment</li>
<li>Experience in a fast paced, high transaction environment, preferred</li>
<li>Strong organizational and decision-making skills</li>
<li>Must be computer literate – POS experience is desirable</li>
<li>High school graduate</li>

Dew Fresh, Inc., a large, integrated farm in Berks County, PA, is looking for persons having strong farm management backgrounds or proven farm supervisory skills.
