The purpose of this position is to provide guidance, direction and insight to the growing staff, oriented toward the hands-on aspects of growing. Through experience and training the individual could eventually direct any or all aspects of the growing process. This is a full-time salaried exempt position with benefits. Schedule varies depending upon the needs of the department.

We are seeking a Cannabis Labs Technician / Chemist (Long Beach, CA) (ISO 17025 certified)
The successful candidate should have a background in chemistry, biochemistry, or genetics, to join our team! You will be responsible for testing and analyzing cannabis and cannabis products for cannabinoids, residual solvent and processing chemicals, residual pesticides (65 pesticides), microbiological impurities (Aspergillus, E. Coli, etc), mycotoxins (Shiga Toxin / Salmonella), water content, filth and foreign materials (mold, foreign materials, Mammalian excreta), heavy metals, and terpenes prior to those products being sold in a legal dispensary within the state of California.
We require the best of the best. The most detail oriented scientists who want to venture into a new market. In addition to a competitive salary, VRX Labs offers its analysts the option to work a four day week (10 hours days), and receive a retention bonus of up to $5,000 every six months, if the technician's test results were accurate, and did not result in any significant retesting.

The Department of Radiology currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Research Study Coordinator 1 This position contributes to the growth and success of the Department of Radiology by executing the mission and vision. Under the general supervision of the Associate Professor of the Integrative Brain Imaging Center (IBIC), responsibilities of the Research Study Coordinator 1 will primarily coordinating all aspects of the research study including recruiting research participants, communicating with families, and running research visits for our neuroimaging studies of emotion and sensory processing in autism spectrum disorders and prenatal cannabis exposure. Other duties include interacting with clinical staff and research interviewers, supervising undergraduate student research assistants, maintaining the scanning calendar, conducting cognitive and behavioral testing, administering questionnaires, entering data into the study database, monitoring data quality, and summarizing study results for lab meetings, annual progress reports, and dissemination of research findings.
 Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
 <li>Screen and qualify human subjects’ eligibility to participate in research studies by completing phone and/or in-person interviews and serve as the contact for study participants

<li>Conduct short questionnaires to ensure compliance with research protocols and regulations
 
</li>
<li>Interface with the University of Washington Institutional Review Board, including completion of procedure modifications, status reports and progress reports.
 
</li>
<li>Train subjects on cognitive tasks and answer any questions related to the research study
 
</li>
<li>Collect brief clinical data and MRI scans from human subjects from typical developing and psychiatric populations. Participants range in age from infancy to adulthood.

<li>Prepare stimuli for fMRI experiments

<li>Create reports as needed and prepare figures/graphs/tables for presentations and manuscripts and assist in manuscript and grant preparation
