Position Summary

Responsibilities

Production Operator 2 - Dispensary

CannaCraft is one of the largest Cannabis companies in California, representing AbsoluteExtracts, Care By Design and Satori Chocolates. We are looking for an AP Specialist to join our accounting team. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing and maintenance of all non-payroll disbursements and related documentation for four entities. This is a customer service oriented role in a very fast paced, high growth environment. The AP Specialist plays an important part in maintaining positive relationships with external vendors and internal partners.
 Major Areas of Responsibility: 
Reviews and verifies invoices and check requests
 
Sorts, codes and matches invoices
 
Sets up invoices for payment
 
Tracks expenses and processes internal expense reports
 
Prepares electronic transfers and payments
 
Prepares and performs payments by both cash and check
 
Posts transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
 
Reconciles accounts payable transactions
 
Reconciles vendor statements
 
Monitors accounts to ensure payments are up to date
 
Researches and resolves invoice discrepancies and issues
 
Maintains vendor files
 
Correspond with vendors and responds to inquiries in a timely manner
 
Produces weekly reports
 
Assists with month end closing
 
Provides supporting documentation for audits
 
Other duties as required
 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
Broad knowledge and experience in general accounting procedures, specifically accounts payable
 
Proficient in data entry and management
 
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on strong Excel skills
 
General knowledge of Quickbooks preferred
 
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment where priorities often change quickly
 
Must be comfortable physically counting and handling large quantities of cash
 Education and Experience:

We are seeking an HR-minded individual who also understands how businesses operate, and is able to quickly build strong relationships with our business partners. This position is located in the Fall River, Massachusetts and will require a minimum of 40-45 hours per week, including occasional evening and weekend work. Must be a current MA resident and able to pass State background check.
Successful characteristics of the ideal candidate include being trustworthy, credible, reliable, and flexible. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable wearing many hats and is willing to roll up their sleeves and help with other duties that may not be a ‘normal’ job responsibility.  We are seeking an Inventory Lead to work in our facility located in Santa Rosa, California. This role is responsible for ensuring proper inventory control to meet enterprise needs. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations and Compliance.
 Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Maintains integrity of the physical all inventory by location.</li>
<li>Ensures proper classification and storage of all inventory (cannabis and non-cannabis).</li>
<li>Conducts timely and accurate intake of all new inventory (cannabis and non-cannabis).</li>
<li>Serve as primary track and trace user, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the State on all internal and external movement of cannabis goods.</li>
<li>Generates daily production documentation, ensures its accuracy and timely input into internal reporting systems and State track and trace, as applicable.</li>
<li>Pro-active on capacity issues, ensuring non-cannabis materials and equipment are available to meet cannabis production needs.</li>
<li>Establishes and manages cycle count programs to maintain and replenish inventory balance of all cannabis and non-cannabis inventory.</li>
<li>Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with non-cannabis third party vendors to ensure consistent and prompt order fulfillment.</li>
<li>Executes all inventory transfers and reassigns active locations.</li>
<li>Recommends merchandise movement based on velocity report.</li>
<li>Researches potential quantity variances as identified by accounts payable.</li>
<li>Effectively queries inventory and all order-related transaction history.</li>
<li>Take a pro-active approach to continuous improvement and implement lean principles in inventory management.</li>
<li>Analyzes and monitors the financial and operational impact of inventory adjustments.</li>
<li>Complies with all laws, regulations, and Company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Assist with Production Technician duties as necessary, including weighing, assembling and packaging various forms of cannabis medicines including but not limited to flowers, edibles, pre-rolls and oil concentrates. Accurately counting, processing, and packing of finished goods.</li>
<li>Researches transaction history to determine the source of inventory variances and order filling errors</li>

Qualifications

<li>2+ years’ direct inventory management related experience in progressively responsible roles</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Materials and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) software packages</li>
