The Production Line technician is responsible for assisting in the production and manufacturing of cannabis pre-rolls and packaging of the final products. Packaging support includes assembling of cartons, gluing boxes, affixing stickers and labels. This job requires working at a rapid pace with minimal errors.
This position is a full-time position that requires flexibility with work schedule and can work rotating shifts.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Ability to work at a rapid pace completing repetitive tasks.</li>
<li>Ability to stand for extended periods of time.</li>
<li>Ability to complete repetitive motions for the duration of the work day, including bending of wrists, twisting, grabbing, pushing and pulling.</li>

Production Line Technician (East Oakland)

Summary
ISLAND is seeking a talented and dynamic mid-level branding and packaging designer to join our close-knit team. Reporting into the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, the mid-level designer will be responsible for all marketing and packaging materials from concept to design and production, ensuring the integrity of the brand is present in all facets.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Activate on and develop the brand vision across packaging, advertising, marketing collateral, and retail merchandising.</li>
<li>Consistently deliver fresh ideas and concepts to keep the brand current and dynamic.</li>
<li>Own designs from initial concept creation to final sign-off.</li>
<li>Design for a wide variety of mediums including print, digital, POP, and packaging.</li>
<li>Create designs for new and existing consumer packaged good items including design for product labeling and related components.</li>
<li>Create advertisements for OOH, print, banner ads, email, and social.</li>
<li>Create marketing collateral such as product sheets, brand guidelines, presentations, and training manuals.</li>
<li>Create retail and merchandising POP design solutions.</li>
<li>Participate or lead small-scale photoshoots and video production.</li>
<li>Develop a working knowledge of our brand, and produce creative that supports and strengthens the brand.</li>
<li>Creative problem solver: be able to define challenges, collect relevant information, draw insightful conclusions and develop marketing and graphic concepts to address the challenge.</li>

Qualifications

<li>Bachelor’sdegree in art, graphic design, or related field.</li>
<li>4-6 years of design experience within a creative agency or in-house product team.</li>
<li>Strong technical skills with expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.</li>
<li>A portfolio that showcases examples of strong visual design.</li>
<li>Packaging experience preferred.</li>
<li>Utilize the core principles of visual design in all you do—grid, hierarchy, typography, color, etc.</li>
<li>Incredible attention to detail.</li>
<li>Able to prioritize many tasks and deadlines with multiple departments.</li>
<li>Good self-management and organizational skills to manage documentation, materials and information for rapidly changing priorities.</li>
<li>Passion about branding and graphic storytelling to creating compelling marketing campaigns.</li>
<li>Entrepreneurial – able to deal with ambiguity and work with little or no direction. Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented.</li>
<li>Strong time management skills; ability to juggle priorities and multiple projects.</li>
