Summary/Objective
 
We have an excellent opportunity for a Plant Manager who provides overall leadership and Supply Chain management for functions relating to our manufacturing facility. This includes Cultivation, Extraction, Finished Product Manufacturing, Distribution, QA, and Maintenance of the plant.

 Ensure all guidelines of Good Agricultural Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, ISO Standards, and OSHA standards are in compliance
 Oversees and ensures compliance of all policies and procedures for the total facility including health, safety, sanitation, environmental processes, quality, and safety
 Partner and collaborate with corporate functions
 Leads, supports and embraces a Continuous Improvement culture.
 Ensure safety and efficiency of the facility. Able to lead root cause analysis investigations
 
Required Education and Experience
 
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred
 5+ years’ plant operations experience
 Required knowledge of accepted quality control procedures and guidelines
 Effective oral and written communication skills and expertise in the areas of human relations skills and team development within
 Demonstrated experience in leading and managing projects from start to finish
 Leadership skills that exhibit integrity, ownership and a “can-do” attitude are a must

Plant Manager

Job Summary
The Grower is responsible for managing assigned crop(s) and ensuring that internal harvesting specifications are met with the main goal of producing crops on time to spec. The Grower is also responsible for managing day-to-day operations related to, but not limited to: irrigation, fertilization, soil management, diseases and pest management, crop timing and scheduling, environmental control, as well as planning.
Essential Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Responsible for record keeping associated with assigned crop(s) in all areas of harvesting as assigned by manager.</li>
<li>Responsible for water, fertility, soil, pest disease, crop timing, scheduling and planning management for assigned crop(s).</li>
<li>Coordinate and perform research and development projects as directed (i.e. trials).</li>
<li>Manager quality control for assigned crop(s) to ensure crop(s) specifications are being met on a timely manner.</li>
<li>Liaison between Growing Department and Operations/Production Department to ensure efficient communication regarding crop(s) issues are being resolved in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Report and communicate any problems associates with assigned crop(s) to department head and other pertinent functions.</li>
<li>Effectively lead and supervise the employees by providing proper training, following and enforcing safety procedures; and taking disciplinary actions as needed.</li>
<li>Responsible for managing assigned greenhouse daily maintenance, including a clean as safe work environment.</li>

Requirements
