Summary:

We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Oregon. This individual would be based in our new office in Portland and will be responsible for greeting clients, assisting sales generation; supporting in-the-field activities of Territory Sales Managers, taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to prospects and existing customers. Additionally, this person will ensure the Company's ERP software is updated to reflect all activities associated with the sales and order process for all assigned territories. Duties:

What We're Looking For

15+ years work experience in greenhouse, indoor farm, or similar Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) operation, with at least 3 years at a Master Grower level or higher
 Experience with multiple types of hydroponic, aquaponics, and/or aeroponic systems, including NFT, DWC, and/or vertical towers
 
Clear written and verbal communication skills

Ability to communicate verbally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication may be required. Sitting or standing for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. Job also requires manual dexterity
Some heavy lifting may be required. Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office and laboratory equipment. Must be comfortable operating and troubleshooting scientific and packaging equipment.
Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of problems.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The job is performed indoors in a traditional laboratory setting. Exposure to chemicals and laboratory agents is expected. Protective safety clothing, goggles, gloves, facemasks, or hat are required as needed. Activities include extended periods of sitting or standing and extensive work using laboratory and packaging equipment and machinery.
