Our stores are where customers come to “experience cannabis”, and our Retail Associates are vital to delivering customer service, offering a distinctive shopping experience that drives sales results. The Retail Associate is primarily responsible for providing assistance to patrons and patients through concierge-level service, assuring anyone who visits a store leaves satisfied. Individual responsibilities as a Retail Associate include demonstrating outstanding customer service and sales skills, assisting with keeping the sales floor stocked with merchandise and/or organizing the sales floor and stock areas. The Retail Associate conducts day-to-day operations within the retail location while adhering to company policy and industry regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns</li>
<li>Lead tours of sales floor within the store, making product recommendations based on ongoing research of strains, cannabinoids and vendor-produced products available</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of all cannabis strain profiles, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and accessories for sale in the dispensary, utilizing knowledge of how cannabinoid profiles and potency affect the body</li>
<li>Retain thorough and comprehensive knowledge of patient and member benefits, discounts, coupons and promotions, encouraging memberships for medical guests</li>
<li>Understand The Green Solution exchange policy, accessories manufacturer warranties, and how to facilitate guest merchandise returns to Lead Associate and Management</li>
<li>Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing</li>
<li>Answer phone with scripted greeting, provide customer service, and accept TGS Express or Call-Ahead orders</li>
<li>Accurately record phone and online orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system</li>
<li>Confirm accuracy of order displayed in POS (correct product, quantity and/or weight, RFID, Pricing, etc.)</li>
<li>Verify correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling according to The Green Solution policy</li>
<li>Operate cash register by using barcode scanner, computer-based POS system and cash drawer to process transactions, ensuring patrons and patients leave with labeled product inside of a state regulated exit bag with correct change and a receipt</li>
<li>Adhere to The Green Solution security protocol and promote safety for patrons, patients and other Team Members</li>
<li>Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines</li>
<li>Fill all time during scheduled shifts with productive, useful activity, including cleaning, stocking, researching, organizing or completing any other tasks to contribute to company success</li>
<li>Adhere to all company uniform policy and preserve all provided necessary equipment</li>
<li>Uphold personal hygiene to ensure safe interaction with patients, product and other Team Members</li>

<li>Help maintain current stock of member handbooks, intake forms, and promotional and educational items.</li>

Under the general direction of the Sheriff and Chief Deputy Sheriff, the Deputy Sheriff is responsible to provide law enforcement services for the County; patrol assigned area; enforce laws, rules and regulations; arrest suspects; conduct initial investigations, surveillance, and prepares reports; transport prisoners and mentally ill patients; carry out court orders and other law enforcement related duties; provide mutual aid assistance to other agencies as requested; and perform other duties as apparent or assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

<li>Patrols assigned areas to enforce all laws and regulations, preserves peace and provides security and detect violators.</li>
<li>Responds to and investigates motor vehicle accidents, provides medical assistance, requests fire, ambulance and air care, and establishes and secures landing zones as needed.</li>

<li>Responds to calls for medical assistance, provides first aide care, assists ambulance and rescue crews in patient assessment and treatment; assists in preparation and lifting patients.</li>

<li>Responds to emergency calls for assistance and other in-progress calls such as domestic assaults, break-ins, robberies, assaults, and assaults with deadly weapons, or critical incidents requiring immediate attention and quick response.</li>
<li>Pursues, apprehends and arrests persons involved with criminal activity, on foot or in motor vehicles at high rates of speed and if required uses pursuit intervention techniques and vehicle to vehicle contact as trained to end the pursuit and preserve life and property.</li>
<li>Investigates all watercraft, ATV OHM, ORV, and snowmobile accidents and deaths on county lakes, waterways, trails and roads; investigates complaints, interviews witnesses and suspects, completes accident reports and enforces all laws, rules and ordinances as applicable.</li>
<li>Investigates fish, game, and wildlife violations such as trespassing, hunting and fishing violations.</li>
<li>Communicates with and de-escalates volatile situations involving persons who are mentally ill or under the influence of; narcotics, stimulants, depressants, PCP, cannabis, hallucinogens, inhalants or other mood altering hazardous or controlled substances.</li>
<li>Conducts safe and sober and DWI saturation patrol operations; prepares and distributes press releases, trains deputies in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and occupant protection programs, conducts field analysis and surveys of occupant protection usage, prepares and submits safe and sober reports to Minnesota Department of Public Safety; detects and arrests impaired drivers, conducts breath alcohol test and/or urinary or blood evidence collection kits; fills out appropriate forms for submission to County Attorney, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and Commissioner of Public Safety.</li>
<li>Coordinates search and rescue operations on land or water for lost, missing or drowned persons, may involve utilizing multiple agencies and Sheriff's Mounted Posse, vehicles, watercraft, aircraft, and specialized personnel such as; rescue divers.</li>
<li>Conducts crowd and riot control at fires, accidents, bar fights, and other major events.</li>
<li>Investigates and completes reports of dangerous, lost, stray animals/ reptiles, and deals with animals according to State Statute or other reasonable means.</li>
<li>Counsels juveniles and adults in crisis intervention and facilitates family crisis intervention.</li>
<li>Serves Civil and Criminal complaints, execution summons, subpoenas, complaints, warrants, and harassment/ protection orders; arrests and transports on outstanding warrants within and out of county.</li>
<li>Responds to variety of nuisance complaints, such as; loud noise/party complaints, animal at large complaints, barking dogs, juvenile and or adult drinking and or drug parties fireworks, etc.</li>
<li>Councils, instructs, makes recommendations, conducts field training of new deputies, prepares daily performance reports and makes recommendations to administration.</li>
<li>Testifies in court as arresting or investigating officer in criminal and civil matters; consults with attorneys regarding legal issues and case preparations; prepares necessary reports, logs, forms, evidence, and correspondence as required.</li>
<li>Reads and understands Supreme, Appellate, and District court decisions regarding work-related issues, such as; traffic enforcement, search and seizure, use of force, investigatory stops, etc.</li>
<li>Attends required training classes and continuing education classes; completes qualifications necessary to maintain POST license and other certificates, such as; First responder, CPR, Pursuit driving, pursuit intervention techniques, firearms qualifications, use of force, less lethal, and other specialized certifications, (i.e SFST, DRE, firearms instructor, taser instructor, use of force instructor, etc.)</li>
<li>Maintains proficiency in the use of squad cars/patrol vehicles, patrol/rescue boats, patrol/ rescue snowmobiles, patrol/rescue atv's and accompanying instruments such as; lights, siren, mobile data computer, squad car video camera, radar speed detecting device, patrol rifle, patrol shotgun, defibrillator, first responder kit and oxygen kits; conducts maintenance, and safety checks of these items as well as cleaning and upkeep.</li>
<li>Maintains firearm proficiency in; duty weapons, Glock handgun, AR-15, M-16, M-14, shotguns, tasers and off-duty weapons.</li>
<li>Maintains knowledge and proficiency in computers and related software, such as; Computer Information Systems (CIS), National Crime Information Center, Microsoft word, Packet Cluster, Cerulean, DVS website, Predatory Offender website, State Legislature website, etc.</li>
<li>Responds to and assists Jail and Correction Deputies with defiant and out-of-control inmates.</li>
<li>Provides security for visiting dignitaries, courthouse, court rooms, crime scenes and a variety of other people and places within our county.</li>
<li>Works with Department of Homeland Security, Red Cross and Civil defense personnel during severe or threatening weather, disasters natural or manmade, such as; fires, flooding, tornadoes, and terrorist attacks. Identify possible terrorist targets; hospitals, schools, busses, animal confinement farms, fuel, propane facilities, natural gas deposits and gas companies, food-processing facilities, etc.</li>
<li>Performs physical demands and work environment requirements for this position.</li>
<li>Effective and respectful communication and interactions with other employees, supervisors, individuals for other organizations and citizen customers.</li>
<li>Attendance during regularly scheduled work hours and outside regular hours as necessary.</li>
