JOB DESCRIPTION: Serenity Lane is located in Lane County, Oregon. It is a not-for-profit organization operating since 1973. Our new state of the art hospital and residential treatment campus is located five miles north of Eugene in Coburg, OR. We also operate eight outpatient treatment offices throughout the state. We treat a broad range of alcohol and substance use disorders. Specialized treatment tracts exist for chronic pain patients, co-occurring disorders and healthcare professionals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY: Direct nursing and related services in the Hospital Unit, Outpatient offices and Resident Health Services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 
<ul>
<li>Plans organization of departments, identifies department goals, and delegates responsibilities to create well defined positions, lines of authority, responsibility, and effective use of staff.</li>
<li>Plans the work of the respective departments and coordinates activities with those of other Serenity Lane Departments.</li>
<li>Supervises maintenance of personnel records according to Personnel Department policies, and Oregon State Board of Nursing.</li>
<li>Assures the delivery of the appropriate orientation and in-service training for staff members.</li>

Position Overview:

Position available consists of general utility worker duties (see description), coordinates a small 2-3 person team, required to place, install, repair or maintain utility systems as needed. Travel may be required, but typically within the state. Underground Construction Crew Leader

The Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor is a primary counselor to clients (youth age 13-17) and their families and is responsible for all duties related to this function including screening; intakes, and assessments; individual, group and family counseling, home visits, and case management.

Program Duties:

<li>Assist Program Director in identifying new markets to increase client population. This is includes making telephone calls and in-person visits to potential referral sources. It also includes contacting current referral sources to maintain good relationships that result in client referrals.</li>
<li>Assists and assumes responsibility for adhering to all grant and contract requirements and outcomes, including but not limited to Contracted MCOs, the Dallas County Juvenile Department and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.</li>
<li>Acts as the liaison between the treatment program and the appropriate provider for HIV/AIDS instructor. Responsible for evaluation the provider’s appropriateness and effectiveness for the treatment program. When necessary will identify and secure another provider.</li>

Qualifications - Education, Training, and Experience:
College degree in related in field is required along with LCDC certification; A Masters Degree accompanied by appropriate licensure (LCDC, LPC, or LMSW) would also be accepted. Four years’ experience in an adolescent treatment program is preferred. Knowledge of trauma informed care preferred. Strong organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skill, and knowledge of CMBHS are required. Valid Texas driver’s license is required.

Our Research and Publishing team is looking for a small number of recent college graduates in finance to help build a database of stocks in the cannabis industry. The successful candidate will use their finance training to produce institutional-quality research reports for a retail audience. You will report to a former mutual fund manager and learn not only about the numbers but about how to assess the more subjective criteria which lead to a company’s success – management, market positioning, regulatory compliance, quality investor relations, etc. You’ll also hone your writing skills and make contacts in the industry.
Why would you be interested in the cannabis industry? For the same reason we are. The cannabis industry is transitioning from illicit to legal state by state, country by country. In the US it’s currently a $8 billion dollar industry at retail and will be a $70 - $100 billion industry in 10 years – as big as digital TV and video. Cultivation Manager

The Kitchen Assistant / Packager will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Supervisor in the making of baked goods, drinks, candies and other cannabis-derived products. In addition, the Kitchen Assistant will also be responsible for helping with the packaging of these products and other cannabis-derived products.
The position requires attention to detail, following directions, general computer skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Maturity, a strong work ethic, and accountability will be required to be successful at this position. You will NOT need to have knowledge of dosing or making cannabis edibles. New Mexico has strict product tracking and content testing standards. Compliance and adherence to procedures and policies is critical.
Duties:

<li>Knowledge of food preparation, handling and safety.</li>
<li>Consistency and Quality Assurance.</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.</li>
<li>Purchasing.</li>
<li>Computer tracking and compliance.</li>
<li>Correctly pack, label, and organize finished goods into containers, following company standards.</li>
<li>Create and apply labeling in accordance with product information and testing results.</li>
<li>Properly weigh and package products in accordance with company standards.</li>
<li>Precisely record products, weights, quantities, and notes in forms and databases.</li>
<li>Thoroughly clean containers, materials, supplies, and work areas.</li>
<li>Be sure to use correct cleaning solutions, cleaning tools and personal protective equipment.</li>
<li>Be familiar with and adhere to Company policies and the Law.</li>
<li>Responsible for assisting with audits and inspections.</li>
<li>Communication via email.</li>
<li>All other responsibilities that are required of the job as specified by the Company.</li>

Job Requirements:
<ul>
<li>You must be able to pass a Federal and NM State background check according to the requirements of NMAC 7.34.4.8(H)(2). (Note: Please refer to requirements below).</li>
<li>Good understanding of both the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Google Products (i.e., Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc.).</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>

NM 7.34.4.8(H)(2)
Disqualifying convictions: Individuals convicted of a felony violation of Section 30-31-20 (trafficking of a controlled substance); 30-31-21 (distributing a controlled substance to a minor); 30-31-22 NMSA 1978 (distributing a controlled substance); or a violation of any equivalent federal statute or equivalent statute from any other jurisdiction, shall be prohibited from participating or being associated with either a non-profit producer licensed under this rule, an approved laboratory, an approved manufacturer, or an approved courier. If an individual has been convicted of a felony violation of the NM Controlled Substances Act other than Sections 30-31-20 through 30-31-22 NMSA 1978, or has been convicted of any equivalent federal statute or equivalent statute from any other jurisdiction, and the final completion of the entirety of the associated sentence of such conviction has been less than five years from the date of the individual’s anticipated association with the production facility, then the individual shall be prohibited from serving on the board of a licensed non-profit producer, or working for the licensed producer, or approved entity. An individual who is disqualified shall be notified of his or her disqualification. If an individual has been convicted of more than one felony violation of the above-cited sections of the NM Controlled Substances Act or an equivalent federal statute or equivalent statute from any other jurisdiction, the individual shall be notified that he or she is permanently prohibited from participating or being associated with a licensed non-profit producer, approved manufacturer, approved laboratory, or approved courier. Any violation of this subsection shall result in the immediate revocation of any privilege granted under this rule and the act.
Physical Demands:
The employee is occasionally required to sit, balance, kneel, crouch or stand for prolonged periods of time and complete repetitive movements. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Travel:
No travel is expected for this position.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work schedules are subject to change.
