JOB DESCRIPTION:
Welder, ASME is responsible in assisting in general metal shop needs. Monday to Friday, 9 am start time, from $28/hour to start, immediate hire. Assist to ensure that any order is ready for shipment and will operate correctly to ensure customer satisfaction. Load and off load equipment and assist in inventory control. Maintain a safe, clean and organized shop environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years experience in fast paced high-end metal fabrication shop
Fabricator with expert level welding skill, TIG, MIG
Advanced knowledge of metal shop procedures, techniques, and basic warehouse procedures
Expert experience in Hand tools, Power tools
Expert knowledge of standard machines drill press, band saw, cold saw and chop-saw
Attention to fine details especially on grinding and fabrication
Ability to work with aluminum, stainless steel
Ability to read plans and drawings
