Website Specialist

National media company, headquartered in Cherry Creek, is seeking a part-time web specialist to help us improve and maintain our websites, provide timely deliverables to clients, and provide support to internal users. This position will require approximately 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to become full-time in the future. Innovation & Tech Today is our award winning flagship publication, however there are other entities that will require attention (Cannabis & Tech Today, STEM Today, Sustainability Today, etc). Candidates need the ability to quickly switch gears between projects to accommodate our fast paced environment.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Maintain, design, and manage our WordPress websites
• Optimizing funnels and landing pages to gather email addresses
• Plan, prepare, code and distribute html newsletter to the subscriber database
• Working with contributors, clients, and partners for inclusion on website
• Plan and post content for website, newsletter and other online presence
• Manage digital subscriber manifest
• Track and document digital performance and SEO metrics to share in a weekly/monthly/quarterly report
• Placing Pay per click advertising to drive subscription sales
• Establishing a plan for our online store and merchandise opportunities

Skills and knowledge required:

• Wordpress experience required
• HTML coding experience required
• Must understand digital analytics
• Graphic design and creative writing skills are a plus!
• Must be organized, able to plan ahead, set goals, and produce results
