We are a leader in cannabis acceptance, accessibility, compliance, quality, and market share. We are looking to add a dynamic Warehouse Associate to join our team!

Summary

The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for protecting company assets by performing logistics duties and maintaining security/accuracy of unregulated (non-cannabis infused) items located in the Distribution Center. The Warehouse Associate verifies shipping information, including physical inventory and comparing counts with invoices as well as packing slips to ensure invoice accuracy for every shipment of unregulated products. Additionally, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for physically securing products prior to transport and performing loss prevention by monitoring access to storage areas, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Warehouse Associate reports to the Unregulated Logistics Manger who oversees all Distribution Center staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages physical inventory of company-owned assets; Responsible for physically organizing inventory in designated areas in storage, on labeled shelves

  • Responsible for physically receiving incoming inventory and verifying accuracy of product specifications and for performing an initial quality assurance check, upon receipt

  • Performs quality assessments of assets and reports results company-wide

  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity/quality of items while in storage and working cooperatively with Managers and Executive Offices to determine repair, replacement or destruction of assets

  • Coordinates distribution of assets, including selection of correctly-sized vehicle for logistics needs

  • Assists logistics staff with loading, packing, and securing loads in company-owned vehicles, using safe-lifting techniques

  • Responsible for using load securement safety equipment, such as furniture pads, ratchet straps, dolly, cart to secure assets

  • Responsible for cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of storage facilities and assets in storage, to include logical organization of similar items

  • Perform warehouse duties to including, picking, staging, loading, and organizing requested items for distribution from central distribution

  • Adhere to policies for new items to include maintaining the integrity of shipping containers for singular assets/individually-packed items

  • Adhere to repackaging policies for items purchased in bulk

  • Packages and labels outgoing shipments and verifies accuracy of physical count and all other order details

  • Creates or verifies accuracy of invoice/shipping documents for all outgoing and incoming shipments

  • Controls and releases inventory to logistics staff for distribution to retail locations or wholesale clients

  • Maintains accurate inventory and monitors barcode tracking throughout the company

  • Coordinates with Managers and production staff to maintain par levels of products

  • Responsible for coordinating with Managers to correct quality assurance concerns

  • Report inventory totals to management to determine distribution needs for each retail location

  • Stages outgoing orders in distribution cage for pick-up using forklift or pallet jack

  • Adapt to a variety of working environments, including offices, manufacturing and cultivation facilities with ability to professionally interface with a range of employees and the public

  • Responsible for reading and understanding all department-specific Standard Operating Procedures and documentation

  • All other job duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education

  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required

Training

  • Must maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and TGS Management
  • Must maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Green Solution, TGS Management, S-Type Armored, NectarBee and its affiliates

Required Skills & Experience

  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills;
  • High-level attention to detail, administrative skills, and highly organized;
  • Experience using web browser applications and familiarity with current versions;
  • Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, HIPAA, and CDPHE requirements.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Inventory Management Software use;
  • Logistics management, Shipping and Receiving, Will Call, or other supply chain management preferred;
  • Previous bank vault, gaming, or inventory management experience helpful;
  • Law enforcement, military, government and/or security experience;
  • Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities.

Work Environment

  • This role operates in a manufacturing kitchen environment with moderate to loud noise level.

  • Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time

Work Requirements

  • Must be able to work in warehouse, manufacturing, or production facilities with moderate to loud noise level and changing working conditions; May require use of safety equipment or personal protective equipment, as needed;

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  • Must be able to handle labor centric work, working 40 hours per week minimum, based on customer demand.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

  • Must be able to acquire MED Support badge ($75 Fee to State of CO) prior to beginning employment
