Job Description
A proven leader with in-depth sales and marketing experience. Provides leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions. This position is responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet the company directives. Responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the company. Develop and implement marketing strategy. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against set goals.
Responsibilities
- Develops annual sales and marketing plans in support of organizational strategy and objectives
- Builds, develops, and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives
- Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
- Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets
- Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions
- Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results
- Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customer for products and services
- Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organization expenditure requirements in conjunction with marketing goals
- Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
- Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors
- Implements improved distribution strategies
- Manages multiple channel selling strategies
- Represent the company at various community and/or business meeting to promote the company
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in the executive sales function
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B sales
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Successful experience developing and implementing corporate sales plan
- Successful experience building and growing a channel
- Successful experience monitoring and evaluating sales rep progress against stated expectations.
