What we do:

Cannabis Club TV is a new digital media advertising platform. Cannabis Club Television (CCTV) installs its proprietary broadcast hardware into high traffic, well-established dispensaries. CCTV airs cannabis related entertainment and educational programs currently in 120+ dispensaries (and growing)

What you will be doing:
CCTV is searching for exceptional Video Editors to bring creative and technical skills to our production team. We run our own internal studio where we write, direct, and produce content for brands and CCTV. We are looking for smart, skilled, passionate self-starters to join our growing team. The position is based in our Santa Cruz, CA office, and we offer competitive compensation. Not to mention – a super collaborative work environment with inspiring colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing in-coming projects by syncing and organizing footage
  • Responsible for logging, archiving, organizing footage and other various tasks related to production
  • Assess and edit incoming footage
  • Format submitted content to fit the company’s editorial guidelines
  • Ensure that video/image/sound quality, size and placement meet requirements
  • Assist with sound mixing and color edits
  • Edit and proofread copy and layouts per guidelines
  • Assist Producers in managing day-to-day details to streamline the post-production process and maximize productivity
  • Develop appropriate schedules for content delivery
  • Keep detailed logs on footage
  • Assist Production Coordinators in management of paperwork, assets and post related documents
  • Facilitate fact checking, research, and implement appropriate edits for ongoing projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Film, or Communication
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects
  • Understanding of Video Formats and Codecs
  • Must have great communication skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment
  • Must be meticulous, technical, organized, and creative at the same time
  • Ability to work independently and under close direction
  • Experienced in deadline driven environment and internet video
  • Experience behind a camera and knowledge of lighting and sound design is a plus
