Job Summary

Kush Bottles is looking for a vice president, sales position is responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet the company objectives. Responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.

Region Directors and Sales Team


Examples of Essential Functions:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives
  • Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with VP of marketing
  • Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
  • Responsible for developing strategies to resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service while monitoring preferences of our customer base
  • Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability
  • Confer and consult with department heads to plan advertising strategies
  • Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
  • Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives
  • Plan and direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs
  • Ability to pre-determine risks and problems which may arise and to quickly resolve these issues and ready to have a plan of action in place if these risks do occur
  • This position is directly responsible for leading managers of the division and indirectly responsible for all employees within the division
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications Guidelines


Education/training/experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years' experience in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field

Knowledge of:

  • High level of intellectual and emotional intelligence required; demonstrated analytical ability coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • Demonstrated success and track record in delivering results in tough, demanding market conditions
  • A progressive career path with a proven track record of success and achieving challenging goals
  • A "player-coach" with proven ability in recruiting, developing and retaining strong teams; a leader by example
  • Strong strategic thinker, capable of translating business objectives into action plans with clear milestones
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Motivated and Motivating individual with experience in developing and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software including: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. Apple product knowledge is a plus
  • Adaptability reacts to change quickly and calmly
  • Ability to handle significant travel, up to 50%

Physical Standards:

  • This position requires frequently sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and operating a computer workstation
  • Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten key
  • Able to participate in the environments standing, moving onsite at events and tradeshows
  • Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds
