Job Summary


Kush Bottles is looking for a Vape Specialist focused on the vape product lines of the company. This includes supporting the sales team and working with factories in China. The goal is to achieve superior customer engagement and deliver high quality branded vape lines to large and small cannabis oil manufacturers by navigating products, and Chinese factories. Vape specialists should have a solid understanding of how each vape product works, how to customize them, how to trouble shoot leaks battery fails, and possible chemical reactions to plastic. This role is responsible for joining relevant conversations directly with clients and sales members and translating those conversations into orders and deliverables to the factories.

Examples of Essential Functions:


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work with sales team in team selling environment to sell vape lines to clients
  • Know how all cartridges, batteries, pods and disposables work, function etc.
  • Be able to evaluate viscosity and recommend cartridges to clients based on visual and/or physical samples.
  • Data mine vape SKU's and alerts SSS/TSM that products purchased in the past by certain clients are in stock and ready to be sold
  • Suggest and recommend the appropriate vape lines to clients based on the budget, the oil being used and volume needed.
  • Gather market feedback from clients and recommend new products be sourced or developed.
  • Ensure filling instructions for all products are distributed to clients and followed.
  • Work with vape team and sales team to follow up with clients and assist in forecasting for vape team sourcing
  • Communicate effectively with vape team for sourcing
  • Trouble shoot leaking or possible failure of all vape products. This includes discussing with clients their filling, and storage procedure as well as the ingredients list to determine where the leaks of fails might have occurred
  • Be able to take apart and evaluate cartridges that we are considering adding as SKU's
  • Fill cartridges at your location when clients are able to bring in oil for testing and providing filled cartridges to clients for testing and keeping one for in house testing for leaks, cracks, etc.
  • Attend Trade Shows and work as Vape expert at trade shows
  • Coordinate mock-ups and samples with various factories
  • Be able to respond at various times of the day or night to effectively manage sourcing products from China.


Qualifications Guidelines


  • 3 Years in vape sales or factory procurement
  • Knowledge of oil, vape ejuice, and other vape related products.
  • Hard worker, team player, and open to ideas

Education/training/experience:


  • 3+ years' experience
  • Previous roles in retail or other vape sales
  • BS/BA degree
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in vaping

Knowledge of:

  • This role requires computer skills in email, word, web based project management applications, pdf, and other web related technologies.
  • Proven working experience in team selling environment
  • Excellent consulting, writing, listening and communication skills
  • Demonstrable vape experience and direct sales / consumer experience
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

  • Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten key

  • This position may rarely require kneeling, bending, squatting.
