We are seeking outgoing, team-oriented and knowledgeable cannabis enthusiasts for trimmer positions with a variety of clients throughout the Coachella Valley.Trimmers are primarily responsible for the efficiency and quality of the marijuana plant trimming in preparation for sale. Trimmers are also responsible for tracking batches that are trimmed including the final finished product, the usable by-product amount (trim), and the unusable by-product (waste) according to company policy and practices, as well as state and local laws and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Efficiently trim and de-fan plants
- Accurately weigh and record all trim weights
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse while performing trimmings
- Breakdown flowers off of stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from useable by-product
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch
- Account for each by-product type processed off the flower
- Maintain quality product
- Recognize signs of insect infestation, pathogens and disease in marijuana plants
- Understand nutritional requirements of plants at various growth stages, including proper mixing, dispersal of fertilizer and flushing procedures
- Safe handling of equipment including lamps, electrical ballasts, pumps, fans and cutting equipment
Requirements:
- Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Excellent computer, mathematics, language, and reasoning skills
- Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale
- Knowledge and familiarity with cannabis
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures
- Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work collaboratively with other team members
- Must comply with an extensive background check
