Trimmer (Cannabis)

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Trimmers work in teams to defoliate and trim marijuana plants as well as cleaning utensils, work area, and washing dishes during an eight-hour shift. This position requires standing for multiple hours in one spot to process marijuana plant material and clean. The Trimmer reports directly to the Trimming Manager for daily duties and may be required to work at different locations during the week. This position performs in restricted areas and requires employees to wear a current MED issued badge at all times.

POSSIBLE JOB DUTIES:

• Wash dishes
• Defoliate plants
• Trim marijuana buds
• Clean utensils
• Sweep and mop work area
• Other duties as requested

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to obtain a Marijuana Enforcement Division badge from the state of Colorado
• Able to stand for multiple hours in one spot
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs overhead repeatedly
• Able to process simple mathematical equations
• Cannabis knowledge and/or industry experience preferred
• Dependable mode of transportation
• Needs to be self-motivated with the ability to learn and take responsibility for their work environment
