Our client, a vertically integrated and diversified multi-state holding company in the cannabis industry, is seeking a bright and self-motivated Treasury Manager for their New York office.
Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Treasury Manager will focus on treasury accounting and reporting matters of the parent corporation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and funds available for investment
- Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
- Maintain banking relationships
- Maintain credit rating agency relationships
- Arrange for equity and debt financing
- Invest funds
- Monitor the activities of third parties handling outsourced treasury functions on behalf of the company
- Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning
- Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 8+ years of treasury experience as an individual contributor public and private experience
- Leadership experience, leading coaching AP Managers
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and prioritization capabilities
Salary: $110-120K
