As a Training & Communications Associate, you will be reporting to the Director of Training & Communications and will be focused on a variety of content creation tasks. As a major component of a lean and agile team, your responsibilities will vary greatly day-to-day and will include creating customer-facing content of all kinds: help center articles, FAQs, support & training resources, blog posts, onboarding materials, marketing/promotional collateral etc. Huge growth and equity potential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Build out and maintain robust help center content, including articles, FAQs, cheat sheets, and infographics.
• Work closely with the Product team to prepare supporting materials to train and inform users on new features and product enhancements in tandem with frequent releases.
• Develop a digital training system (lessons, quizzes, practice scenarios etc.) that will be used to onboard new clients.

• Create relatable, digestible, and informative support & training content in a light-hearted but professional manner.
• Collaborate with our Support and Customer Services teams to identify points of confusion throughout the product and get our users up to speed faster.

Experience & Skills:

• Bachelors degrees w/ 2+ years of training/communications/content creation experience.
• Rock solid writing, editing, and communications skills.
• Strong analytical and organization skills, ability to meet deadlines, a sense of urgency, and attention to detail while remaining calm under pressure.
• A big picture thinker with a relentless obsession to detail.
• Awesome personality, great sense of humor, and a willingness to work hard.
• A team player who's comfortable with ambiguity and autonomy.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the representation of Treez.

Nice to Haves:

• Startup background, specifically in tech
• History in support
• Interest in cannabis

Bonus Points:

• Proficient in ZenDesk, MailChimp, Elev.io, and/or Intercom
• Graphic design abilities
• Interest in AV

*Must be located in the Bay Area.

*Our office is currently located in Fremont, but will be moving to Oakland in the coming months.
