What you’ll be doing:

We are building a high-performance team that is committed to results, hard work, and success. As Talent Manager/Director you will be responsible for Talent Acquisition, Employment Branding, Implementing training systems and processes, and Leadership /Management Development. As a startup company, you will initially be an individual contributor. You must be hands-on and resourceful and have the experience and passion to build a Talent Management function from the ground up.

Your responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Implements effective full life-cycle recruitment processes that include sourcing strategies, advertising, research, recruitment, selection, offers, orientation, and onboarding
  • Consult with hiring managers on talent needs
  • Act as a business partner to develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans
  • Lead employment branding initiatives
  • Actively source and attract candidates to fill open positions
  • Create passive pipeline of candidates for future positions
  • Take actions to assure a positive candidate experience throughout their interviewing process
  • Utilize the ATS system for recruitment
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs and industry events

Talent Management

  • Develop relevant talent solutions to support business objectives
  • Design and implement onboarding and learning programs to facilitate quick transitions for new employees
  • Coordination of our talent management cycle including succession planning and individual development plans
  • Assist in the development of annual talent and organization plans as they pertain to talent development needs and workforce planning

Leadership and Employee Development

  • Partner with business leaders to determine best solutions for employee development and learning paths
  • Assess need for LMS and plan for implementation
  • Oversee the assessment, analysis, design, development, deployment of learning and development programs and processes
  • Develop communication and marketing methods to educate employees on educational programs, training resources, and opportunities, etc.
  • Creating talent management processes that will help managers assess employee development

Your experience and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or other related fields; Masters’ Degree a plus
  • 5+ years’ experience in Full-Cycle recruitment
  • 3+ years’ experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development and/or Learning & Employee Development
  • Hands-on experience and deep acumen of internet research, social media utilization, networking to build a sustainable talent pipeline
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS
  • Proven experience in direct sourcing and employment branding
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices and latest trends and benchmark data in talent management, organization and leadership development
  • Experience in a high growth startup strongly desired
  • HR Business Partner experience a plus
